Pros: Euro Design Coffee Basket - Water flows through the Coffee not over the top then out the sides. I use less coffee therefore less oils in the brew and easier on the tummy. The flavor of the brew is robust yet mild. There’s something about the way this little coffee maker brews fresh ground coffee beans. I like using the unbleached brown filters they help in removing the oils. It does such a good job. Often, I grab the filter basket by the convenient handle throw the filterbag in the garbage can, rinse out the holder and coffee pot, flip them over on the rack and let’em dry. I’m ready for tomorrow morning.
I haven’t had any problem while removing the coffee pot as it brews. You know to get that 2 to 3 oz of eye opening shattering strong robust beginning of the pot brew to get the heart pumping… quick spot of especially strong flavor. You know what I mean… I said all that to say, in all the times I’ve done that I only noticed once a drop of coffee drip on the hot plate.

Cons: At $30.00 including shipping it’s your fault if you miss out on it.

Other Thoughts: I was using a round flat bottom filter basket type coffee maker and I can say this. The savings in using less coffee with so-much better flavor will more than cover the cost of this coffee brewing machine. I hope this thing last 10 years or longer.

Pros: Makes great coffee. The "Aroma" option really works! This coffee maker produces great coffee. The Aroma option works by slowing down the drip rate--in Aroma mode, it takes twice as long to make coffee--but the results are worth it!
The included mesh coffee filter works great--no more $$ for paper filters.

Cons: As noted by another reviewer, your coffee consumption will rise!

Pros: DeLonghi is a company known for quality without the high price. They do not fail to deliver on this little gem. Excellent coffee from this very affordable coffee maker. So simple to use, clean and enjoy. It brews an excellent pot of HOT coffee, quickly and efficiently. Did I mention HOT? This maker brews and keeps coffee hotter than any previous maker I've owned.

Cons: No free coffee included. :p

Other Thoughts: After spending over $100 for a Cuisinart that lasted 6 months, I was skeptical about buying. But the Egg had a fabulous special going for less than 30 dollars, free shipping. So I gambled ... and won. Don't fall for the high priced gimmick makers. I am slowly figuring out that virtually everything I buy anymore comes from Newegg.

Pros: The very best coffeemaker I've found for daily use! Love not having a paper filter, and being able to pour a cup before the whole pot has finished brewing. The programmable controls are simple to use. DeLonghi has a winner here, glad to see they're still making it!

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: I owned one of these prior to this purchase and put it through the wringer for three years--it was a very sad day for me when it stopped working correctly. But I finally found another one!
