1 out of 5 eggsDeLonghi heater

Pros: Put out ok heat when it worked

Cons: Leaked oil all over my carpet. Would have given no stars if I could.

Other Thoughts: We have two other DeLonghi oil filled heaters & wanted a third. This one developed a leak & puddled oil on the floor... so it's going back for a refund!

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice and quiet!

Pros: Does the job for a small-medium bathroom. Nice and quiet. Really like it!

Cons: Takes a while to get going, so you need to allow for warm-up time.

Other Thoughts: Good value for the price. It smelled kind of weird the first few times we used it, but that doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.

5 out of 5 eggsOil Filled Heaters

Pros: We use 2 of these heaters for zone heating the house and they are flawless for this use. We have had these heaters for 5 years now and they last forever. Electric is 100% efficient no matter what kind of electric heater it is. We use a small fan blowing across the heater for air circulation and it doesn't take long once the heater warms up. We live in a northern climate and are total electric using a electric furness for 30% of the main heat.

Cons: No cons here

Other Thoughts: You are wasting your money buying an expensive type of electric heater as electric is electric and they are all 100% efficient and oil based heaters have no moving parts. I would not try to heat the whole house with these heaters unless if it is very heavily insulated.

After about 15 minute, my bedroom warm again! Love it!

Cons: UPS makes my heater surface broke a little. I'm very unsatisfied with UPS!

2 out of 5 eggsOk, but not great

Pros: Safe. Very little chance of getting burned.
Quiet. No fan noise
Easy to install

Cons: Not very powerful -- if you stand right next to it you can feel the heat coming off it. But get 2ft away and nothing.
VERY slow to head a room. This is a radiant heater, meaning you have to turn it on for about an hour before you will really feel a difference in temp.

Other Thoughts: If you need a safe heater to add a few degrees to a small room then this heater is fine. As long as you turn it on and leave it on. But, if you have a larger room, need heat quick, or need more than just a few degrees increase, this is not the heater for you.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job well

Pros: We did not experience the first hour hot oil smell others have mentioned.
Hot but does not burn to touch.
Does not have the wide hot cold swings of other style heaters.

Cons: It was too easy to set up,

Other Thoughts: I'm getting ready to purchase another for the other cool bedroom.
