5 out of 5 eggsToasty

Pros: Even radiant heat
Has high/low (1500W/750W) switch
Thermostat has antifreeze setting
Silent
Wall mountable

Cons: When it's first run from being brand new, it really stinks bad for about an hour. Then next three hours have some smell. After this it is smell free. Be sure to first run it outside when it's brand new for a while to burn off the smell of paint from manufacture.

Other Thoughts: Once you burn off the paint smell from manufacturing it's an awesome heater.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Heater But...

Pros: Excellent Heat, quiet operation, wall mountable. Easily keeps medium to small room nice at night

Cons: Thermostat gives different temperature each night, 69 one night, 73 the next. One year warranty (Lasko have 3year)

Other Thoughts: Like the heating and silence of this heater, but temperature control is iffy.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little heater

Pros: -Wall-mountable with exception.
-Heating element quickly heats up.
-Ideal for small rooms
-Not that heavy.
-Space-saver

Cons: -Not wall-mountable on wooden wall, wall with paint or wallpaper, and other flammable wall material.
-One knob only contain numbers 1-6 imprinted as a temperature controller, not the actually temperature range.

Other Thoughts: All in all, it is a nice heater. I use it for my bathroom where there is no heat from the building. Gets cold in there during those cold nights when taking a shower. You can mount this only on non-flammable wall material like brick, concrete, or stone (as a precaution by the company). If you have a flammable wall, you can get around this issue by constructing a metal mount for the heater that is about 1.5" or more away from the wall.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks great and gives off a lot of heat. Much nicer then the type with the glowing heater element and loud fan, easier to sleep with it in the room.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsLove It

Pros: It's practically silent and doesn't dry out the air. Keeps my 25'x18' bedroom plenty warm on setting #2.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to buy two more.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat heater

Pros: Great heater. Quiet solid heat. Wheels for moving around.

Cons: Sticky label on cord :)

Other Thoughts: I recently purchased the 3rd heater from newegg. I like to have heaters close by in the winter hear in NW Iowa and keep the main furnace set low. In the past have used fan based ceramic heaters to do this, but this quiet heater is far superior. Makes you toasty warm.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprising GREAT

Pros: This works, and keeps my bedroom at a perfect temperature. I was a little skeptical at first, but after a year, it is doing very well. I recommend this unit highly.

Cons: The markings on the knobs are hard to see.

Other Thoughts: I got this a year or so ago, for ~$49, and I want to get a second one, but the current price ($99)causes me to consider others.

5 out of 5 eggsSlow & Steady

Pros: This thing is very very very quiet and the front has no light coming from it whatsoever, which makes it kinda unobtrusive and doesn't hold your attention (an unexpected pro). There is one small dim led light on the right side between the two knobs, and this is the only way I know that the unit is on. This is a good thing. The heater is something I turn on and forget about it. I don't need to keep adjusting the temp up/down, and it doesn't keep kicking on/off every few mins, which I had taken for granted until I got this heater.

It is about the size of a 32" flat panel tv on wheels and is light and rolls very smoothly on my hardwood floors and kitchen tile. Can't comment on carpet. It definitely felt bigger than I was used to when I first put it together (setup took one minute - just screw on the legs) but because of the easy roll and slim profile, we just slide it between the couch and end table since the device isn't too hot on the sides. The wide footprint of the casters makes it feel surprisingly stable, even though there is a safety feature in case it does tip over.

It doesn't look cheap, and it does seem like a nice product. It'll be easy to keep clean and look sharp/new for a long time, unlike some other heater styles that get dusty in the grooves and need a q-tip for cleaning.

It comes with some mounting hardware (screws and a small bracket) for the wall, but I am not using it that way and cannot comment on it. For now, that stuff got stored in a junk drawer.

I have had it for several days now and have turned off our central apartment heat and just roll this to whatever room I'm in and that is working for me.

Cons: Not so much of a con... but its a slow heater. If you are coming in from the cold and want a blast of heat, this is not it. This took about an hour to get my room from 65 to 74, but it heats up the entire space. This means that both my partner and I are warmed up, instead of a heat source directed at just one of us or rotating between us.

There is no timer or auto on-off (that I know of) so you'll have to remember or put it on a timer yourself. That being said, if I accidentally did leave it on for an extended period of time, I don't have a fear of coming home to a dried out sauna. It'd just feel really cozy :)

The cord isn't terribly long, about 7ft. Therefore, if you're rolling it around a lot, an extension of some kind might be necessary.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this in a 1 bedroom apartment during 40 degree rainy Seattle weather. It heats a typical large bedroom nicely in about 45min, if you want an entire floor of a house heated, it can happen but it would probably take awhile.

If you're debating between an oil-filled radiator type and this one, I'd definitely recommend this one because it rolls easier and is more balanced with the wide footprint, and it hides better when you need to slide it between furniture. Also, it isn't hot to the touch like the oil-filled ones.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Even Heat

Pros: Nice even heat, quiet, & no moving parts or fans.

Cons: I only wish it had a way to set to a certain temperature rather than just high or low.
