4 out of 5 eggsTop of the Line

Pros: From what I found, this heater is top of the line. It offers a thermostat, two timers, remote, and a setting to keep it from freezing.

Cons: Though it has a remote, I find myself getting up to adjust the unit because the digital display is not backlit. It's hard to read close up, impossible from across the room.

The timer looses it's settings when it is disconnected from the wall, so beware power outages or the temptation to roll this between rooms.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these units because I live in a small apartment in the southern US. My apartment comes with forced air electric heating and I hate how it is loud and dries out the air. These heaters are silent, though "whole room" seems to max out at about 13' x 13'.

The timer allows the bedroom heater to come on in the morning to wake me up and warm the room while I get ready for work. This way I only have to turn on the apartment heat in the evening.

I'm not sure using the second heater for the livingroom is going to work out, as it is open to the diningroom and kitchen, it seems too big for this "whole room" heater without really cranking it up- which might cost more than running the apartment heat.
