I have found this to be one of the better choices I have ever made. 3 years old and still going strong. Wonderful asset at Easter time with kids. Cons: Non-stick surface on tray not so non-stick. Super easy and FAST. Taste SO much better than poaching in the shell or other method. Small, compact, perfect for students. Cons: You literally need to stand there and wait till its done so the poached eggs dont get over cooked by sitting on the warm plate - same principle as the traditional method... I was hoping this inconvenience would be gone with technology. oh well :) Other Thoughts: I am buying more as gifts. Perfect price for that... Did you find this review helpful? Cons: Can get tricky with fewer eggs, but that's true with all of them Other Thoughts: For boiled eggs there is a needle on the center of the tray. Make sure the eggs gets the micro hole, otherwise there could be a mess. And no the hole does not leak or put shell into the egg. Did you find this review helpful?
