Not many toaster ovens can go up to 500F but this one can. It toasts fairly evenly and has one of the most intelligently designed crumb drawers. It fits well on smaller countertops. Cons: It is not quite big enough to do a 12" pizza; if you need that capability, grab the TOB-40 model. I miss the digital controls from my old oven but I knew what I was getting before I ordered it; no eggs off for that. It does not have an interioir light but my kitchen is fairly well lit so I can live with that. Other Thoughts: Excellent product from the folks at Cuisinart! I was going to get the TOB-40 but it was sold out. Kinda glad I didn't as I re-gained a little bit of counter space with this model. I've seen a few reports of the fires but hopefully Cuisinart has that problem under control with newer batches. I do unplug mine when I go away on vacation just in case Regardless, I would definitely recommend this model to a friend.. Did you find this review helpful?
