Pros: Beautiful set of excellent cooking wear. I bought my set in 2005 and keep them as clean as new! Perfect set and you can add other pieces to this set as well. Excellent conductivity, perfect weight and they won't disappoint.

I bought the first two of those things separately because they're super handy, and the colander/steamer would be nice (if you've got the storage space).

Pros: High quality, well balanced (not to heavy), excellent heat transfer, beautiful exterior finish, handles that stay cool to the touch with average cooking times, and the handles are riveted to the cookware (which is what you want your cookware to have).

Cons: Heat does transfer easily with these Cuisinart 77-10 Chef's Classic cookware, so DO NOT cook on high (fry on LOW to MEDIUM, and boil on MEDIUM-HIGH, not on high ever, and when boiling water put a lid on your pot, saves energy, and your water will boil faster!

Other Thoughts: Being a classically trained french Chef, I think this cookware is a excellent choice for the Home Chef, as well as the Professional Chef!

Pros: Beautiful, heavy duty set that will last the rest of your life under normal use. Heat transmission is unbelievable after using cheaper non-stick cookware. You have to spend much more to get anything better like the All-Clad sets.

Cons: Heavy. Some larger items are almost too heavy to lift when full of food or water.

Other Thoughts: Bought the four quart saucepan separately when America's Test Kitchen recommended it as their best buy. Ordered this set for free with reward points at work after using the 4qt pan and liking it. Made in China.

Pros: Beautiful appearance, well made, excellent feel. Fairly heavy duty. I wouldn't use it in a professional kitchen but, in a home it's about perfect. Heats evenly.

Other Thoughts: The aluminum stuff looks great but, I avoid aluminum I'll stick to stainless.

Pros: Awesome looking set. My wife and I both cook and this will be our primary set now. Beautiful Stainless, sturdy handles, Lids fit amost to well!

Cons: Keep nonstick for eggs, pancakes, or anything that could potentionally stick.

Other Thoughts: I really have heard horror stories about stainless and dirty look after heavy use. Proper cleaning and following manufaturer suggestions have worked fine for us. Will mostly use skillets for sauteing and searing.
