Other Thoughts: The first one arrived without critical parts, including the steam release valve. One return later ( New-egg C.S was very courteous and cool) the new cooker arrived (three weeks later) with all it's parts, and in working order. The box it was shipped in was the display box. In other words, if it's going to be a gift you want to keep a secret don't expect it to arrive in a plain brown box. It will be the one it sits on the store shelf in. This is not good for another reason, and the source of my main gripe. Who ever the outside vender is, new egg has partnered with to sell kitchen appliances, they are just slapping labels on display box's and dropping them in the mail with out regard to how they are being handled by the delivery service. The display package is not adequate protection, and invites the curiosity of thieves. The first cooker to show up at my doorstep was in such a badly battered box the Styrofoam inside was cracked in several places. I am not surprised parts were missing. I can not stress enough the fact that the outer display box ,things like this come in, is NOT sturdy enough to be shipped in. So in the end, shipping is paid twice by the seller, I get my stuff way late, after Christmas, despite being ordered early. How are they making any money?
No eggs off because the final product is good, but if I was able to rate the shipping experience; 2 stars, and I am being generous because New-egg customer service is one of the best. Love you New-egg.

Cons: No outer packaging on all three pressure cookers I purchased, just the manufacture's box. So my adult daughter answered the door to delivery and one of the pressure cookers was for her for Christmas. Crazy way of shipping, I've never seen before. At least the deep fryer I ordered had an outer box, but no packing around my item to keep it safe. These made it, but weren't even taped shut on all sides.

Other Thoughts: Newegg.com could spend a couple of bucks on outer boxing of their shipments.

Pros: Relatively fast shipping. Item is as described. But NO PACKAGING!!!! Item arrived opened with parts falling out of the top of the box!!!

Cons: Newegg what happened to your packaging dept?? Are they all on vacation?? This item was shipped as is, In its original box and when I received it, it was open with some of the parts almost falling out from the top. Luckily none was lost. With the exception of a few blemishes (wondered how it did not suffer much more serious damage), the item seemed to be in working condition - I plugged it in and powered it on.

Other Thoughts: Newegg, if your idea was to shp the item with minimal packaging in order to prevent damage then you barely succeeded. It did have a few minor scratches, but nothing to warrant me shipping it back. You have to do better! This is unacceptable to ship an item with NO PACKAGING PROTECTION!!!
In fariness to Newegg, this is the first time I have ever seen such shoddy packaging, and over the number of years I have spent thousands at this website. I hope this is not a sign of things going downhill...

Cons: Got the cooker yesterday. Opend up today to make dinner. Guess what, no manual, no cord and no pressure lid and the cooker seem to be used when I paid for a new one. Try to contact the customer service but no luck they are too busy for me. I am out of a hundred hard earn money and no dinner. will never do bussiness with these people again.

Pros: I wrote a review complaining about poor shipping. Talked to Newegg customer service. They were very helpful. Will send me a replacement, and will pick this one up at no cost to me.
