2 out of 5 eggsJust OK

Pros: Easy to use and clean with removable plates.

Cons: Grill does not get hot enough. By the time you get grill marks, you have overcooked a steak. It will end up grey on the outside and overdone on the inside. There is no way to sear.
The grill is not slanted (apparently patented by Foreman) so juice goes everywhere.
The two temperature controls do *exactly* the same thing. The switch from grill to griddle is meaningless.

Other Thoughts: If your expectations are low, this will do nicely.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing product

Pros: This grill is so nice first of all it has 2 different kinds of plates that have two different functions then it comes with two different controllers 1 grill the other gridder. The other advantage it has is the it came with a little buttons on the sides and if you press them the plates will fall on you hands
Obviously they knew what were they doing in maqking this product every day I use this grill because i'm a student and im living alone and this grill solved most of my coocking problems.I strongly recommend this product.

Cons: None so far .

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: It is just big enough to cook 4 good size burgers, which is perfect for my family. Has two sets of grill/griddle plates, which you would think to be a common feature, but none of the competing models have them.

Cons: Went on sale 1 day after I bought it locally because the price was the same as Newegg. File under 'you have to be kidding me'. That's $30 down the drain.

Other Thoughts: Wish the grill plates were reversible like the old one my mom used to have, instead of having to store an extra set of plates. I bought this as a stop gap because our oven broke. Then the oven miraculously started working again. Must have been because I hit it hard enough. But I think we'll get a lot of use out of it anyway. Especially for breakfast cooking.

5 out of 5 eggsMore info - mfr product page

Pros: The link to get more information that NewEgg gives goes to the home page of Cuisinart.com. Here is the link for this product:
http://www.cuisinart.com/products/grills/gr-4n.html
I've added this to my wish list - wasn't in the market to buy this despite the great sale (mfsr = $99)

Cons: Looks a little small to cook a large number of things together and I dislike 'non-stick' surfaces, but I haven't tried it and I doubt you'll find anything as good without those cons. Being dishwasher safe must mean the non-stick surface is tougher than the usual non-stick surface.

5 out of 5 eggsOur 2nd most used small appliance.

Pros: Removeable, dishwasher safe plates! We looked at other griddle/grilles, but this one had all of the features we wanted.

Cons: The upper plate can be a little wobbly when opened out to griddle. It's only held level by a ball and spring detent. Even so, it still works just fine for eggs, bacon and pancakes.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine locally about a year ago. Now that newegg has 'em, I'll probably buy another one or two to keep on hand for gift giving. Review title says second most used small appliance. What's the first? The coffee maker!
