5 out of 5 eggsGreat stuff

Pros: Well built, easy to use and clean. Fast delivery. Great book with ideas.

Cons: This is not for lazzy people, the machine does 10% of the job, you need to spend some time before making your ice cream. For me it is fine.

Other Thoughts: Buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter Than You Think

Pros: Makes frozen treats.
Easy To Use.
Blade/Paddle Doesn't Move.
Sorbet/Ice Milk treat ingredients are relatively inexpensive.

Cons: Heavy Cream is expensive these days.
If you are the one in charge of using this device you will be very busy during the summer.

Other Thoughts: I was impressed with the quality of this machine. Very simple design, which rotates the frozen bowl while the paddle stays in position scraping the edges, makes it safe to continually test it while you are making it :)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: No ice or salt. Freeze the bowl for recommended time.
I used our favorite custard type base and it turned out well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you want a harder ice cream, temper the ice cream in the freezer for a couple hours.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: I used it to make green tea ice cream, it turned out amazing! I was really impressed by it.

I didn't had any problem freeze the mixture, and it turned out great.

Cons: The machine was a bit louder than i expected, noise level is similar to my dishwasher, so it's still manageable.

Other Thoughts: Super fast shipping from newegg, order it on Wednesday and got it by Friday!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Machine with Tasty Recipes

Pros: Very simple construction with few parts to break. Works as indicated in the manual. Takes about 20 minutes from pouring in the mixture to ready to eat ice cream. Includes a number of good recipes in the manual (probably about 10 or 15, ranging from ice cream, frozen yogurt and fruit sorbets). The cheesecake ice cream recipe is spot on and tastes delicious from my experience. Cooling 'bucket/container' can be left in the freezer at all times for convenience, which is what we are doing. Great machine that we will be using for years to come.

Cons: Ice cream consistency at the end of a 'run' is more like soft serve than store bought style ice cream, but an overnight in the freezer will easily solidify it to what you are used to. Cooling 'bucket/container' doesn't have a lid for quick transfer from machine to the freezer if you want to further solidify the ice cream, but that is probably so the expanding material inside doesn't rupture the 'bucket' when it freezes. A quick transfer to a separate container isn't too big of a deal, and you get to taste your frozen concoction while 'cleaning up'.

Other Thoughts: All the parts (aside from the 'bucket' and the motor base) can be put in the washing machine for quick clean up. Machine looks very pretty on the counter when all put together, very aesthetically pleasing.

4 out of 5 eggshappy with it

Pros: Good price and good value. I stand to save a small fortune by transferring my organic ice cream habit to the proceeds of this machine.

Build quality is good, it doesn't feel cheap.

It makes a batch quickly, about 20 minutes.

Cons: The ice cream has a different consistency from store bought. It relies on cold and air rather than gums and other thickeners. It holds together less well.

Other Thoughts: It'll pay for itself pretty quickly.
