Very satisfied with this product!

Pros: I've had this refurb pizzelle press for a little over a month, and have used it about four or five times. I followed the recipe included in the booklet for the standard pizzelle (although, I substituted 2 tblsp of Sambucca for the anise extract) and I found that it made a tasty cookie. The refurb machine was in excellent condition, the non-stick surfaces worked well for every pizzelle I've made so far, and I had no issues with undercooking or overcooking. Overall, this is a great machine that makes making these traditional Italian cookies a breeze. Highly recommend.
Cons: My only con is that some of the exposed edges can get hot - which is normal - but I just wish that some of the lower edges had been shielded so as to be "cool-touch" or something like that. Every once in a while I am afraid I am going to brush against one of the burning hot edges when I'm operating the machine.
Other Thoughts: It doesn't hurt to spray the included spoon with a little non-stick spray so that the batter slides off easily onto the plates.
