Honeywell HHT011 HEPAClean Compact Air Purifier

Pros: Adequately powered for the indicated sized room. Washable prefilter and vacuum-able HEPA filter will save money. Compact enough to hide on a shelf in the corner of the bedroom. The low setting provides good white noise at night in an otherwise uncomfortably quiet room. The ionizer does seem to freshen up the room which can become stagnant since I do not open the windows.

Cons: None to report.

Other Thoughts: This air purifier has been a sinus saver. I no longer wake up in the morning feeling stuffy and I sneeze considerably less. After the first clean-out the proof was in the filter; it was completely saturated with dust. This machine works. I run it on high with the ionizer on while at work and switch it to low with the ionizer off (bright light) during sleep hours.

Pros: It cleans air

Cons: it is loud even on low setting, on high setting your neighbors dog will start barking, its a joke, but it is really loud

few minutes after Ionizer is working head starts to hurt. use ionizer when you leave the room.

Other Thoughts: I got it because I found a little mold in my bathroom, wanted to get something that would clean air after mold was chemically cleaned and removed.
It's likely if did nothing.

Pros: Cleanable filter ...

Cons: The lowest setting is like ... a medium in all honesty. I wish there was a setting a tad lower to cut down on the noise, it's a bit too much when sleeping, I resorted to putting it across the room ... which isn't that big in the first place. It has a slight whine noise at the lowest setting, I don't know if that's normal or not, but I'm getting used to it.

Other Thoughts: Cheap, washable filter.

Pros: First, I'm very happy with this product. If you live in Chernobyl or Fukushima this unit may be a bit less than you need. If you just want to keep the dust away from the bedroom computers, it's fine.

Cons: Has no one but me noticed that the Honeywell HHT011 and the Honeywell 16200 are the exact same machines at different prices, the difference being removable vs permanent filters. If you check, the filters seem to be the exact same size. They recommend vacuuming the permanent filter. I've bought the one with the permanent filter. I'm going to buy one of the replacement filters and if it does fit, I'm going to try vacuuming it also. Marketing. That's the name of the game.

Pros: Cheap, HEPA, small and easy to place.
And yes, it does its job.

Cons: You can't buy replacement filters for it. The manual tells you to vacuum the paper filter. Say what?

Other Thoughts: Also, it is rather loud. At the lowest setting, it prevents me from sleep two rooms away, so daytime use only, at least for me.

Pros: Cleans the air in the room about once an hour.
Filter is easy to clean, and reusable.
Good circulation for a smaller unit.
Price, cheaper than several smaller units.

Cons: Haven't seen any yet, but its only been a couple months.

Other Thoughts: You usually get what you pay for as a general rule, in this case I think you get a little more and its a nice change.

Pros: Worked well until it broke.

Cons: Broke after 4 weeks. Makes really loud grinding noise when ran now.

Pros: -Easy to setup

Cons: - Loud, even on low setting you likely won't be able to sleep with this running overnight

Other Thoughts: To be honest I can't really tell if this is doing anything for me. The filter is not dirty at all after a few months of off and on use and I haven't noticed a difference in air quality.

Pros: Was cheap?

Cons: Worked for a couple weeks, then it just died, but I'm not complaining. I suppose you get what you pay for($29ish)

Pros: Very user-friendly and compact, not pricey like the true HEPA filters. Cleaning was easy, just pop off the front grill and rinse out the filter/faceplace. Seems to help on bad pollen days.

Cons: Fan is noisy even on the lowest setting, and the green LED is very bright. Has not decreased the dust levels of our room.

Other Thoughts: Very subjective if this has increased the cleanliness of our air, we have a very small bedroom that accumulates dust quickly. Have not noticed a change in the dust levels, but i do feel that it works when i'm having an especially bad allergy day. Just close the door/windows and shut yourself in with the filter on full blast and it seems to help the pollen levels and any strange odors of the house. Has been very helpful when roommates cook something strong smelling, a good entry-level buy if you are an allergy sufferer and can't afford true-HEPA.
