5 out of 5 eggsBest Fan I've Ever Owned

Pros: Super quiet in lower speed modes, can blow a lot of air in higher speed modes, remote control.

Cons: A bit expensive comparatively.

Other Thoughts: This the perfect fan for home theater rooms, or at least where you're trying to watch tv or listen to music. The lower speed settings are very, very quiet compared to any other tower fans I've tried, which are numerous. If you need more air movement, just up the speed (there are plenty of speeds), but beware it will start to get loud like any other fan. The lowest speed is nearly silent, but doesn't push a lot of air, but is great if you're not too far from it. Worked great all last summer with no odd noises like others have described when it's oscillating. Looking forward to warmer weather to enjoy it again. I have added it to my Logitech universal remote control to keep things simple.

2 out of 5 eggsA bit misleading ad

Pros: Looks nice, simple to assemble, and sturdy base.

Cons: DOES NOT have 12 hours timer as ad stated.
Noisy when oscillating.

Other Thoughts: At this price it should have more operating features like sea breeze, and shorter increment timer like 1/2 hrs etc (not 1, 2, 4, 8 hrs).

1 out of 5 eggsunacceptable noise

Pros: irrelevant

Cons: The fan arrived yesterday. It intermittently makes a buzzing sound when the ran rotation reaches an end point, and at random other times. Holding my hands on the fan body eliminates the noise. Clearly, some internal vibration is being transmitted to the plastic enclosure. Also, if I put my ear to the unit I can hear a faint clicking sound, the kind a fan makes when it nicks something as it rotates. May be a design defect, may be a manufacturing defect, may be a packaging defect, your guess is as good as mine - in any event the fan is going back.

5 out of 5 eggsLove mine

Pros: Quiet, compared to other fans i own, and for it's class it's as quiet as any other. The remote is kinda of pointless, but fans are useless if you aren't being fanned by them, so it's nice to turn it off at night if you put it in the corner. Even the low speeds move considerable amounts of air, enough to blow a lighter out from 15' away. Have had mine since august of last year, no noises or ticks or anything. Thing is almost never off though from May-September.

Cons: It kinda stays at the end of the cycle when oscilating for a while, so having it stop on you is a good idea, unless you just want a passing breeze.

Other Thoughts: Fans break, MTBF is not listed on these things, but i usually don't get more than 12 months out of a oscillating fan until it stops rotating, but still works as a fan.

1 out of 5 eggsBreaks After One Month of Use

Pros: -Sleek design
-Eight different speeds for a more customizable climate setting
-Active room temperature digital readout
-Automatic temperature control
-Remote control included

Cons: -Wobbly Base
-False hopes
-Deceiving tag of "QuietSet"
-Breaks after about one month of use
--THIS FAN IS NOT QUIET - If it doesn't succumb to power failures as other owners have reported (mine never did), it WILL develop an internal defect and begin to emit a horrible screaming noise whenever it is turned on (mine did/does this). This high-pitched screaming noise is so loud that it is absolutely unbearable (and really quite ironic in relation to the promised "QuietSet" aspect of the fan). I went out and bought a different tower fan because I could no longer stand to listen to the banshee cries that this fan was wailing. The other tower fan has been as quiet as ever. DO NOT BUY THIS FAN. IT WILL FAIL.

Other Thoughts: This fan is GUARANTEED to fail within a month's time either due to a power failure or an internal defect that results in the constant emission of a horrible, high-pitched screaming noise. Multiple reviews by many owners and from different sources confirm this to be a VERY common occurrence. This fan seems like a great buy when compared to other tower fans of its same class, BUT DO NOT BE DECEIVED. IT IS NOT QUIET. IT WILL FAIL YOU.

DO NOT BUY THIS FAN, EVER. Buy /ANY/ other fan besides this one. It will be better, TRUST ME. I've had this fan for almost an entire year now. THE SCREAMING NEVER STOPS. Move on to a different tower fan while you still can. THIS ONE IS EVIL.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked Great....

Pros: Worked great, had multiple settings from quiet to super loud blast of air.

Came with a remote also which helps my lazy habit.

Cons: Lasted but a few months and the power system seemed to be dead. Would take it about 5 minutes to kick on and when it did, it was loud as my neighbors spanish music. The oscilating wouldn't work either.

5 out of 5 eggsBest fan I've ever owned!

Pros: This fan is especially great for a bedroom! It is very quiet for the amount of air pushed. You can set a temp and forget it. Lots of speed settings between low and max. Is slightly higher than most fans.

Cons: Bright temp display could be distracting to some at night. Doesn't inject sage smell into air.

Other Thoughts: Pricey but at least you are clearly getting what you pay for.
