Pros: Excellent features. Easy to install. Easy to mount and unmount off the wall with "socket" disign with the wiring. took me about 10 minutes to remove my previous unit and mount the new Hunter one. I bought two for both my units and they both work great, i don't have to worry about turning my units off before leaving in the mornings and I come home to a nice cooled off house. I also took a sick day today and all i had to do was press one button to tell the unit to cancel the programming for the day and leave the AC on all day.

Cons: None really, covered old unit's holes in the wall nicely and looks great. very simple to use and covers all the buttons you dont use everyday.

Other Thoughts: Loved the unit b4 i even bought it. For the price there is no reason not to get it. no more worries about if i left the AC on all day while i was away. Also Hunter is a very well known company and makes great products so you know your buying something that will not break the first week you have it.

Pros: Since I have owned it, this thermostat has worked flawlessly. It covered up the hole in the wall well, and was easy to hook up if you read the directions. I paid about 40 bucks for mine (same model#) over 3 years ago. This unit will save you a lot of money vs. a standard thermostat. it does this by turning up the a/c (or down the heat) while you are away and/or at night. It saves your settings so you can switch to a/c in late spring and heat in late fall without doing anything but flipping a switch once you program it. Well worth the money. It will pay for itself many times over.

Cons: Unit can be tough to get stable against the wall if you abuse the anchors when you hammer them in. just be a bit gentle with the anchors.

Other Thoughts: Unit can be quick programmed for 5 days/nights and weekends separately from 7 individual days/nights. It has a filter sensor to remind you when to replace your filter. Requires two AA batteries (included I think) the first set lasted well over 2 years. and it doesnt lose the programming when you change the batteries.

Pros: Great product. Easy to install. Works great.

Cons: I am not happy with the pre-program temps. Seem to be to hot in the summer(80-85 f) and to cold in the winter (60 f) in the winter.

Other Thoughts: Had to put the old one on due to a new baby and it getting to cold at night. I will put it back on and reprogram it at a later date.

Pros: This is a great thermostat. The ability to program several different times per day for adjustment is ideal and has saved my household money in the long run. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Good deal for the price

Pros: Easy to switch out with your current thermostat - just pull the old one off and wire this one up.
While it is 7 day programmable, you can simplify to use a 5-2 (week/weekday) program if you choose. Options are limitless and there's no way you couldn't set it up to match your schedule.

Cons: The wire labels didn't match up exactly with my (very) old thermostat, so there was a little guesswork involved in matching them up with the correct terminals. Fortunately the manual has a pretty decent description of what each wire is for.

Other Thoughts: Works best if you've got a regular schedule of when you're home and not home. "Home Today" button is nice for those days when it's not scheduled to cool/heat the house but you're off work or something.
