My coffee tastes like I am at the coffee house. Cons: The lid is REALLY tight! but at least it won't fall off while pouring your coffee. Other Thoughts: I had to buy a new Farberware percolator because the one I got when I married 22 years ago finally stopped working; and I make coffee 2 sometimes 3 times a day!!! Cons: Received on 12/20/2009. Since 04/01/2010 the coffee maker barely gets warm, coffee is brewed weak want watery. If we want a decent cup we have to re-brew the pot a second time then microwave the coffee to be nice and hot. Other Thoughts: Coffee pot should last longer than 4 months. Not happy with the products life span. When we first got it, it was the greatest thing and was working fine. only gave two eggs and the second was because of fond memories.
