Great purchase
- Pros: I've made 3 loaves thus far, and all have turned out great. I've used tried and true recipes from when I had my old machine. Works as well as my beloved old, expired, more expensive machine (West Bend).
- Cons: Takes up a good amount of counter space, hook attachment to remove paddle was not included as stated.
- Other Thoughts: I ordered from Newegg.com one day and received the machine the very next day. Incredible! No problems at all.

- Pros: I like the idea of using it as a proof box. I like being able to start it up in the different stages of the baking process. For example you can mix the dough by hand, place dough inside and start it from their or if your not feeling like doing it by hand you can have the machine mix it for you. Cleaning is easy and the bread pan has a nonstick surface.
- Cons: Needs about a 23" vertical clearance so the do door can be open.
- Other Thoughts: Since I'm a professional baker, I really had my doubts about a machine making good bread but I was wrong. If you follow the directions your bread will turn out great. Just be sure not to let the yeast touch the water, sugar or salt before you start mixing otherwise the pH level of the sugar or salt will kill the yeast; The water temperature has to be just right so the yeast won't die either. Also don't open it during the proofing process or else your bread will start to fall. Baking is a science and this machine has got it right.

- Well-built
- Can make various thinks besides bread (like dough, cakes, sweet-breads, jams, glazes)
- Good user manual
- Cons: - Farely large for countertop if you have small to medium kitchen. it's rather tall and upper cabinets prevent from openning lid all the way, to place backing pan in or out (but it's reletive to size of your kitchen cabinetry).
- Very few bread recipes suplied in the manual booklet.
- Loafs are odly shaped and more like a cube versus traditionally shaped loaf.

Wile those cons listed do not effect quality of the final product they do pose some minor inconveniences (at least to a conservatist like myself)
Not that bad of the trade-off for a half the price of the average breadmaker.
If you are OK with odly shaped loafs and don't mind surfing web for extra recipes then don't hesitate and buy this product.
To make your bread making cost effectiv remember following:
- Allways buy yeast in small bulk (1-2lb at Costco, BJs, etc.) NOT small packets from supermarket. Yeast is most expensive part on the recipe list.
- Use of all-purpose flour is no problem, but bread-flour gives bread slightly more traditional texture. I have used half-half mix successfully. Adding wheat gluten to all-purpose makes negligible difference while very expensive to purchase.
- Buying flour on sale (and/or bulk) further increases your savings on making your own bread. Especially if you are not an occasional bread baker and do it all the time.

- Cons: Dont expect to get perfect bread with 1st (also 2,3,4,5) attempt
