Elite EWM6171 Elite Platinum 3-Tray 2.5-Quart Stainless Steel Buffet Server & Warmer

Pros: We've used this 4 times already and it's been a great addition to our kitchen appliances. Comes in very handy when you have several items to keep warm when hosting a party, works great as a Wing Bar holding three different types of chicken wings.

Cons: Lids crack after only 4 uses, can pickup replacements at most any restaurant wholesale store.

Pros: This is truly an awesome server. It does what it says it does.

Cons: Not the kind of server I would've expected to find on Newegg...

Pros: It does keep food warm.

Cons: Plastic covers developed numerous hair line crakes around the perimeters after two uses.

The covers are not covered under Maxi-Matic manufactures warranty, they wanted $27.95 to replace them.

Other Thoughts: Very poor manufactures warrenty on this product.
Fortunately Newegg.com is a great company and took the unit back. I would not recommend this item to anyone.

Pros: Keeps things warm. Very fine control of temperature (I only took it up to ~135F, but that was 1/2 turn of the pot). Didn't seem to have any hot spots.

Cons: It tilted on the back seat of my car and a little bit of condensation came off the lids on to the seat. It's a small 'con'

Other Thoughts: Got it for Christmas (from Newegg via wife) and just used it today for a group at work. To transport the foodstuff in it safely, I just tied a bungee cord around it long-wise and the lids kept everything in place. I made scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns and it kept everything at a proper temperature and all were well received.

Pros: Working without a problem for months. Use monthly with multiple foods. My favorite kitchen accessory.

Cons: none

Pros: got it onsale, good price compare to local store, test it works fine, hope would work at my next party
