Pros: I bought this little guy about 2 years ago. I use it almost every day. I'm a broke college student so I pretty much live on pasta, rice, and Ramen (which are all bad for me but super cheap.) I've also made egg omelettes in it, heated up soup, made some stir fry with a bunch of veggies, even tried to make pancakes, which didn't turn out too bad. And this cooker is still going strong! I'm very happy with it. (:

Cons: Not adjustable temp - Only "cook" and "warm"

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this to anyone that's on a budget. It's a great rice cooker for such a low price!

Pros: Cheap when I bought (Just 9.99), Light weight

Cons: Cheap quality material, Bowl is not non-stick. Need to monitor

Other Thoughts: Very disappointing purchase. Poor material, rice cooking is improper even after adding double water than rice. Need to monitor it for deciding if its done and need to be unplug. Rice gets stuck on bowl. Can burn. Hard to wash as it leaves lines if rub to wash properly. Stains easily if you have added cumins or turmeric.

Pros: small, generates little excess heat, does not require much power.

Cons: no non-stick on cooking container, temp / moisture sensor miscalibrated, seriously doubt that metal cooking container will survive several more attempts to scrub off toasted rice residue without losing its already poor surface. Needs guessing as to when to turn off or reduce heat to stop possible charring of food items placed in it.

Other Thoughts: I suppose it would be good for soups or stews, but for rice it is a constant battle as to when to properly turn off or reduce heat to prevent the rice on the bottom from turning dark brown, as well as the rest of the rice sticking to the container as well. Best thing I can say about it is: this item works well while under constant supervision and can probably last so long as it is carefully cleaned each time after it is used to prevent more scratches from the cleaning attempts causing more food to stick next time.
