Pros: I've always been a sucker for bagless vacuums. Its very convenient to be able to flip a lever, remove the catch bin, empty it, and resume vacuuming. The hose can be quickly detached from the body of the vacuum to capture debris in corners, near base moldings, on furniture, and various nooks and cranys. The bagless format is also economical and keeps another piece of trash out of our landfills.
Cons: I have seen so many bagless vacuums in the garbage because many people don't seem to know how to maintain their bagless vacuums. Besides the catch can, there are usually 2 to three additional filters that must be periodically removed and cleaned to maintain the performance of the vacuum. Once suction becomes poor the path between the head of the vacuum and the catch can usually becomes clogged until the vacuum simply scatters debris and beats it deeper into the carpet. If bagless vacuum owners would simply service their vacuums, or have them serviced, they will be rewarded with a very reliable and effective vacuum cleaner while saving money on bags and contributing less garbage to landfills.

Pros: It will clean sufficiently for a short period of time. The duster is a nice touch (while it works).
Cons: It never cleaned exceptionally well, even when it was brand new. It seemed to start losing suction after just a handful of uses. This thing started smoking after about eight months of pretty light usage. Reading reviews on other sites showed that many other people have had the exact same problem with this vacuum.
Other Thoughts: After the issues above started occurring, we ended up using our hand-vacuum instead because this one was essentially worthless. Put your $80 towards something else.

Pros: Really cool. The built in duster thing really works.
Cons: You have to push it around. It should be remote controlled.
