Excellent Vacuum
- Pros: - HEPA Filter

- Other Thoughts: There is not much written on vacuums, so, I had to go to Consumer Reports. Their top rated vacuums cost in the area of $300. This particular vacuum was ranked about 5th. I also got this type because my wife wanted a separate hose attachment. I had to attach the handle when it arrived and insert the HEPA filter. The only two features missing are no retractable cord (power cord is done manually), and it uses bags. However, to get all those features and a vacuum that is reliable with no leaking runs the price up to $300 (using CR as a guide).
Works great
- Pros: I did a lot of research before choosing this vac, though there aren't many such resources for this type of product. The work seems to have paid off, the suction power is high, and all the features work as advertised. The accessory hose seems to be made of rubber and a steel spring, so stretching it won't destroy it like it will with the plastic hoses on cheaper vacuums. My carpets feel noticibly cleaner under foot.
- Cons: The body construction is primarily plastic, so it will need to be treated gently.
