Very happy with the results. Works very good on stairs, and does a fine job on furniture too. I've got three cats (two long haired Persians), and this vac handles their hair in a swipe or two at most. Nice suction for such a small tool, and I vastly prefer having a cord to racing the clock with a battery charge. The flip/cover is a great idea for doing both the horizontal and vertical parts of stairs. Cons: Doing my full flight of stairs puts a minor strain on the wrists. I can live with that though. It works so much faster and better than the tools on my normal floor vac, I consider it a small price to pay. Other Thoughts: Presuming it holds up over time, this was exactly what I was looking for in a stair vacuum. The fact that it also does a good job on the furniture is just a great bonus.
