Dirt Devil SD20000RED Versa Power Stick Vac Red

Pros: Light weight, reasonable noise level, versatile. Hard floor pickup and short nap throw or area rugs. Probably work as well on indoor outdoor type carpet.

Cons: Wish filter would seal a little better. Some 'bleed by' of fine dust around the edges, not terrible however. Filter is NOT to be washed with water. (Wish it could be, cleaning it would be easier.)

Other Thoughts: Bought this on an Egg super saver for $18.99. One should be aware this vacuum is, IMO, intended for hard floors. I have several hundred sq ft of hardwood, tile and a little linoleum. It works great on those. Also some throw rugs with a very short nap where it also worked well. Isn't intended for carpet.
The included crevice tool works as intended, however a few bristles on the end would be nice or an extra tool with bristles.
I've found that schedule 40 plastic pipe fits just about perfectly into the end, with that I believe I can adapt a dust brush to fit and then this nice little vac will be even MORE versatile.

Pros: This small vacuum cleaner work very well. Designed for small jobs. You can buy with confidence

Cons: It literally feels like a toy and weighs about 2 lbs.
The suction tube constantly falls off.
It has very little suction power- forget about carpet.

I bought it to suction out dust from inside computers, it can handle that- barely. No attachments for small crevices means a poor job even for that.

Avoid this - its a total crapper.

Other Thoughts: This was the second and last Dirt Devil product I will ever buy. I bought it out of desperation.

For a little more money I recently bought and love a "Shop Vac All Around EZ". Works great, powerful, wet or dry and costs under $40. Google it, you wont be disappointed.

Pros: Light weignt and can be stored easily - Inexpensive - can get it from H.H.Gregg for $15

Cons: Does not pick up everything on carpet. Often have to go up and back multiple times. Died after 6months.

Other Thoughts: Probably good for indoor/outdoor carpet

Other Thoughts: I have another dirt devil (12 amp) for heavy duty work, such as cleaning rugs. This small one is very quiet, easy to move around.

Cons: Converting from stick vac to dustbuster involves a couple of steps. Would've been better if the dustbuster was in a quick release cradle on the stick part. But for the price, I can't complain.

Pros: Its a decent vacuum cleaner for college dorms and its easy to store, assemble and use. I love how it can change from an upright vac to a hand vac

Cons: It not the best suction, but it does a decent job, its not the best on rugs though, but like i said it gets most of the job done

Other Thoughts: I have had this for about a month now, since its cheap I'm thinking about getting another one. Its really easy to use I like how I dont have to depend on charging it all the time, so it never loses power and it can vacuum for awhile. Watch out for its heat, if you vacuum for around 15 minutes then you can feel the temperature change

Other Thoughts: I was hesitant to purchase this even at $20 but I am very happy I did. I bought it to quickly vacuum our hardwood and tile floors of dog hair and crumbs. We have three rooms of hardwood flooring and one of tile, about 750 square feet. We have two Goldens who shed a fair amount.

This is basically a corded Dust Buster. Whereas a Dust Buster never had much suction because of the battery, the Versa Power Stick is corded and has plenty of suction. I was concerned that its capacity would be too small but I can suck of all the hair, dirt and crumbs with no problem. Emptying it is just like emptying a Dust Buster.

The Versa Power Stick is suction only, no rotating brush, so it is best-suited for hard flooring. Also has an attachment to reach small areas.

Pros: Picks up very well on hard floors, my area rug. Easy to use, empty out, nice cord length. It's great for the times you don't want to get out the big vacuum and that's what I bought it for.

Cons: None so far

Pros: Compact and easily broken down for storage. Powerful enough, even for a small hand-held bag less vacuum.

Cons: Haven't come across any yet.
