Pros: This is really super, my wife happy with this meat grinder. very good product

Pros: Price. Easy to Clean. Tray, feeder tube, pusher, sausage attachments all fit in a single 1 gallon ziplock bag for storage. If you grind it yourself, you know what you're eating.
I have recommended this product to all of my friends and family members.

Cons: Auger shaft and dies are made of Tool Steel and while very hard & durable they will rust while you watch them air dry... wash & dry, then immediately place these 4 parts in cooking oil (peanut oil has the best shelf life).

Other Thoughts: We catch arm & shoulder roasts on sale (these cuts make the best tasting hamburgers) - cheaper than store made hamburger - and tastes so much better, you won't want to eat store bought hamburger ever again.
Pork butts are good for sausage and if some fat is cut off prior to grinding, it makes for some good pork burgers.

(NOTE: Tool steel dies and auger should be stored in a shallow 'tupperware' bowl with peanut oil - peanut oil has a longer shelf life)

Pros: Easy to install, easy to operate

Cons: Accepts mostly special prepared meat, soft enough, other way - smell of burning parts

Cons: No overclocking options. I would suggest the manual meat grinder If you wish to overclock.

Other Thoughts: Homemade Chorizo - INGREDIENTS:
2 cloves garlic, mashed
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 pounds ground pork
PREPARATION:
Mash garlic with salt; add remaining ingredients. Mix together and fry until brown. Use in any recipe in place of chorizo.
