Pros: I use it in the shower for cutting my head and facial hair. It's very convenient because there aren't any parts that you have to switch out or any cords to plug in to use the device. It's lightweight and super simple to use.

Cons: It's plastic and can crack if dropped. I've had a few of these now and one did crack. The main weakness of any charging trimmer is the battery life. Be prepared for this battery to die after 8 months to a year (depending on how much you use it).

Other Thoughts: I've purchased a few different hair/beard trimmers and this is by far my favorite because the battery life seems much better for this price range and it's completely water proof. I charge it at night and use it in the shower, in the morning.

Pros: Works well, easy to clean, waterproof, compact charger. Head stays sharp wirh proper maintenance, and parts are available if needed. This will be my third one, but they all still work fine.

Cons: I have no complaints. Replacement heads are pricey, you can buy a whole new unit cheaper then the head.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to use this third one to trim the downy feathers away from my chickens "vent" area. She gets a poop build-up on her feathers back there. She loves the sound, it lulls her to sleep.

Cons: I read the reviews that the beard guide/depth selector was somewhat delicate and I can confirm that is is very fragile. The thing generally works fine but you have to take off the attachment regularly to clean the blades and that's where you're going to get into trouble. You have to squeeze and pull the attachment to get it off and the construction is so weak that after a few cleanings even knowing that I had to be very careful, it broke any way.

Other Thoughts: At this price, this would be a five-star trimmer were it not for the eggshell construction of the depth guide attachment. If you don't mind using a comb or if you want to trim down to the skin, go for it.

Pros: this is a decent size, rechargeable, has adjustable size clipper, has a detailer, and is for wet/dry use

Cons: Says is can cut your hair as well as your beard....at least not my hair, it keeps getting clogged and I had to keep cleaning the blade out after every 6-8inch pass (though I do have thick hair). It does work if I use regular clippers to shorten it to the length of an average beard but it still clogs up a little too quickly.

Pros: I've had one of these for three years and five months. I've used it about once a week to keep the rest of my scalp uniform with my balding crown. It takes one charge of several hours per week and does what I need it to without fuss. See 'Other Thoughts' for details regarding this second purchase. I will probably get more than 10 years of use between both the one I have, and the new one.

Other Thoughts: I've dropped the one I have several times. After all of this time, it seems that a cracked developed on a part of the depth gauge that secures it to the chassis of the trimmer. Instead of bothering with any DIY repair, I decided to look into purchasing another one.

Pros: Waterproof. Easy to use with no attachments.

Cons: Motor not getting full juice anymore on a full charge, after about 8 months. Plastic "blades" easily flex when pressed against my face, resulting in patchy shaving.
