The sleek Panasonic Vortex wet/dry shaver gives you an unbelievably close and comfortable shave, and keeps itself sparkling clean, too! The nanotech triple blades are precision-polished, with the inner blade set at 30° to give you the smoothest results possible, while the 13,000 RPM linear motor prevents skin irritation, even on the toughest beards.
The adjustable pivot action of the head gives you total control over your shave; the head follows every contour of your face. A pop-up trimmer helps you keep your sideburns and neckline neat in between visits to the barber. When you’re done shaving, the HydraClean base cleans, dries, and charges the shaver, so you have a fresh, clean shaver every morning!
The base uses a detergent-based cleaning solution to remove all the debris, then uses heat to quickly dry the shaver, before any corrosion or bacteria have a chance to get started. The base completes the drying cycle with a fan to dissipate any remaining moisture. Excellent Shaver
- Pros: -Very efficient shaver.
-Pivoting head to adapt to contours of your face.
-Extra black like a regular shaver.
-Dry/wet.....in other words, waterproof. You can even use it in the shower.
-Includes a very decent cleaning system. It serves as a docking station. It can charge, clean, and dry the shaver.
-One charge lasts 1-2 weeks.
-Doesn't hurt. No bleeding or nicks. You're doing it wrong if you are getting hurt. You should shave with the shaver at a 90 degree angle.
-Comes with a carrying case/pouch.
- Cons: -The cleaning system comes with a detergent. This detergent must be replaced when a status LED is lit. Panasonic recommends replacing it every 30 days (regardless if you clean it once every day or once a week). I guess it's not good for it to just sit there. Refills cost $15 for 3 detergent cartridges. So ~$5/month to maintain it if you want to use the cleaning detergent. Not too bad. If you want to save money you can just rinse it in water since it is fully immersible in water.

- Other Thoughts: -I use this shaver for wet shaves and sometimes dry shaves. After my wet shaves I just dip the shaver into the machine/cleaning station and it will be fully ready for the next use!
-It took me probably about 2 weeks to get used to the shaver. The manual says it takes a month for your face to get use to any new shaving method.
-I love how the cleaning system cleanses after every shave.
-After a wet shave, you can just stick it in the machine and select the dry option. It uses heat and a fan to dry it. Very hygienic.

- Pros: Shaves close like nothing else. Very easy to clean. Battery lasts very long. It's water proof. Get's even better after 2 weeks when your skin get used to it.
I recomend.
- Cons: High Price.
- Other Thoughts: A little overprice, but you pay for quality. I'll never use a blade again.

It's not bad
- Pros: Nice cleaning unit, does what it says
- Cons: It doesn't shave that well. It will get the job done. It hasn't replaced that regular razor though. That's why 4 of 5
