5 out of 5 eggsGood Hot Pot

Pros: This is a replacement for a Zorijushi hot pot. While I miss my Zorijushi, this is pretty comparable. I don't understand the person who complained about the pot being hot. I have my hot water set to 208 and it stays cool to the touch. While it does take a while to boil, my sister who has a new Zorijushi hot pot stated that it takes 20 min for the water to boil so it is the same time as this machine.

Other than price, there really is not big difference. The quality is just as good as the Zorijushi for 1/3 less.

Cons: Nothing i can think of...

5 out of 5 eggsBest Thermal Pot I've Owned

Pros: Great product. It works well as advertised with no dripping which can be a problem with lesser brands. Being a hot tea drinker I've owned many thermal pots and this is the best so far. It lasts several years now under constant use.

Cons: The steam vent design can be better. When boiling the steam would come out straight up to my kitchen ceiling so I have to move it to a high ceiling area. Maybe a diffuser vent would work better?

Other Thoughts: Having hot water at perfect temperature available on demand is great. You don't have to wait for the microwave and I can use stailess steel thermal cups which you can't put in the microwave oven.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as good as expected

Pros: All as descripted by hours timer

Cons: $30 over priced. Poor insulation. when heat up your water to 202 degree, you can feel the pot outside is more than warn at the body, hot at the top of the lip. Steam vent make it even worst. Vent open allow heat to escape after pot stopped reboiling the water.

Other Thoughts: Not happy for pot cost $100 with such thermo insulation. My $20 Thermo mug able to keep my water hot longer.
