Pros: Lightweight, cord reel

Cons: Bar is not powerful enough, suction is reasonable powerful. No height adjustment. Bag doesn't always stay connected.

Other Thoughts: Spend a little more, get a lot better

Pros: Worked well with no leakage, decent price at the EGG, Easy filter change, Handy acc. with the Vacuum.

Cons: Died a week after the 1 year warr. smoke and sparks from the motor with burning smell of its death. This is a product that could poss. cause a fire in your home. I took the thing apart post mordum to see if anything was caught inside etc. and it was all clear with only the motor smoking with a lot of sparks.

Other Thoughts: This item joins the 2 Panasonic microwave ovens I have bought in the last 5 years. Each item has lasted until the warr. runs out and dies. I gave you a reprive Panasonic ! and you failed again!Since the Poss. fire hazzard I will contact Underwriters Lab. maybe it will save someone a lot of grief. Panasonic you no longer get any of my $$$ and either will Matsushita the parent company.

Pros: -Best suction of any vacuum; it only decreases if the bag is full
-The CORD REEL/rewind! The cord reels into a built-in chamber, you just push a lever with your toe; this is my favorite feature I will no longer live without it.
-You can save money and get inexpensive generic bags (w/o HEPA filter) for about $2/bag (12 for $24)
-Panasonic is highly recommended by anyone in the business
-Easy to use out of the box; belt is easy to replace when needed, as are the bags
-Color of the unit itself is relatively neutral (brick red)
-The light is useful
-Easily locate clogs due to the hatch that opens on the back (eg the occasional sock from beneath the sofa)
-This is not bagless
-Mine has lasted 12 years

Cons: -HEPA bags are costly (type U6 cost about 3/$13); I used my left-over U3 bags which also worked (same size, but no HEPA)
-Bare floor use is limited. I do use it occasionally, but it could be disappointing if you bought it for this use. (IMO you need to get a separate bare floor vac; look at the Hoover Flair for about $40; this is what I use when I have a big job on my bare floors.
-Would be nice to have a longer cord; this is 25ft. However, I'll take the cord reel any day over a longer cord.

Other Thoughts: My experience with Panasonic vacuums began when I worked for a retailer who sold them. I never had a customer return a Panasonic to me, however I did see many of the competitors' returned, various brands. Since owning a Panasonic, I will confess I never bought another brand vacuum. I have had a few given to me, before I bought one and have used other folks' which were severely lacking in comparison.

Pros: Super Easy Setup.
Very Powerful.
Will clean on nearly any floor.
Great Accessories.
Cord Reel is a must have feature.
LOVE IT!

Cons: On the heavy side.
No power settings
