The Panasonic ES4026NC Sonic-2 Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver has two fully independent floating heads to provide a close shave even on the sensitive and variable geometry of the neck and jawline. A man's face isn't a "regular" surface, and you need a shaver that can conform to your unique features. The floating heads adjust as you go, and two different speed settings are available for different parts of your skin. The twin heads lift and wash for easy cleaning.
The wet/dry design of the Sonic-2 Pro Curve means you can easily clean your shaver by simply rinsing it under running water. The wet/dry functionality also gives you the option of shaving wet with lather while in the shower in addition to dry shaving. The pop-up trimmer is great for grooming your moustache or sideburns. Just pop it up when you're ready to use and tuck it away when you're done.
Stay smooth, stay comfortable and beautiful at home or on-the-go with Panasonic!

Not good infact it's pretty close to useless
- Pros: The trimmer works to some extent, although not very well. The rubber grip is grippy. It didn't shock me and it worked as designed(albeit it's a horrible design). It seems to hold it's charge for a decent amount of time. It's durable, I smashed it on the ground several times very hard before it ceased to function.
Read the cons to see why......
- Cons: If you are buying this because you are sick of using razor blades and/or you just are caught by how cheap it is. There is a reason that this "thing" is soo cheap, it sucks at cutting facial hear. First it will cut your face and leave you feeling razor burned. It doesn't get nearly close enough at all. I've never shaved so much to look unshaven. Be prepared to go back over the same areas again and again(this how you get cut and burned). I'm really not a hairy guy either if that's what you are thinking. So aside from not cutting hair, the charger on this thing is annoying too. It needs to plug in up right to charge instead of just requiring a cord like everything else in the modern world. And if you plan on taking it traveling with you be aware it will go off in your bag.
- Other Thoughts: If you want to make the switch to an electric razor, this is not the one to do it with. Do some research, buy something for over a hundred dollars. At which point you might decide an electric razor is not for you...that's fine but this item will not function as a razor...I assure you. You could however, give this to someone as a gift as they will not not know how bad it is when you give it to them and they might appreciate the thought. Make no mistake though, when you buy this product for someone you are giving them disposable junk...they may just hate you for it.
I'm sold!
- Pros: Reliable design, sideburn trimmer, rechargeable, quiet, inexpensive, nice feel
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I bought a Panasonic shaver like this about 10 years ago, and it had just died. The rechargeable batteries wouldn't hold a charge. Back then a Panasonic shaver cost around $120.00. I found it hard to believe that this unit would be as good. But I dare say that it is BETTER!

Nice Replacement For An Old Panasonic
- Pros: I have an old Panasonic ES-302 electric shaver where the Ni-Cad batteries gave up the ghost. I tried finding replacements for them on the web with no luck. It was called the wet/dry "Smooth Operator" So, when I found this one on NewEgg I figured lets see if this is also a "Smooth Operator". If nothing else you sure can't beat the price. Well, I've been using it for a week and I'm very satisfied. Following the instructions in the owners manual you do get a very smooth close shave and it cleans up nicely.
- Cons: Ni-Cads. Ugh. Maybe there's a reason they have to use Ni-Cads in a wet/dry electric shaver. If that's the reason I'm not going to complain. I have another inexpensive Braun 3612 electric shaver and it has Ni-MH batteries but it's not a wet/dry shaver.
- Other Thoughts: You're not going to find another electric shaver that does as nice a job as this one at this price.
Nice
- Pros: For the cost, it's a good shaver. Works ok when face is wet. On a tough beard like mine, it takes a lot of time to get close. I use it occasionall, the instructions say to use only it for a month or so. No can do Panasonic.
- Cons: More work with a tough beard than using a blade.
- Other Thoughts: I like the charger stand.
3 month review
- Pros: Doesn't tear up your face
Gets a reasonably close shave (one that you'd expect from an electric shaver)
Only $20
Cleaning is easy
- Cons: Has a more difficult time cutting hair that has grown more than 2 or 3 days, but that's understandable
The charger doesn't have a cord, so there's no way you can use the shaver while its charging.
The side-burn trimmer doesn't really work, but you can use the shaver in normal mode to do a decent job on side burns
Doesn't seem to work as well in the shower, but it could just be my hair/skin
- Other Thoughts: In all, I really like this electric shaver, and would definitely buy it again. I used a rotary before this and it really tore up my skin, but this foil shaver seems to work well. Give it about a week or 2 and your skin should adapt to it. I have pretty sensitive skin and the shaver doesn't bother me at all now. It's much better than spending a ton of money on new razor blades ever week. The shaver seems to hold its charge, and you get a reasonably close shave. You'll never get as close as you would if you used a blade, but that's understandable.
