Pros: Automated; cooks rice and other grains as described.
Cons: Boils out the top vent when cooking quinoa and some types of rice, which makes a big mess.

Pros: Cooks well on the "white rice" setting. Plenty big, with the 10-cup bowl. The timer function is very handy, you can set it up in the morning, then come back home to nice hot rice. The inside lid snaps out easily for cleaning.
Cons: Only one I can think of is that, according to the manual at least, you can't make less than 3 cups of rice at a time. The scale on the inside of the bowl only goes down to 3 cups. Wish NewEgg carried the smaller 6-cup model.
Other Thoughts: It may be possible to measure out the water without the scale and still do less than 3 cups in this cooker. The cake function seems handy, will try it out tonight.
