Pros: -Incredibly close shave

Cons: -Not very good for your upper lip
-Self-cleaning is noisy

Other Thoughts: This razor constantly gives me the best shave I have ever had. I'm always amazed at how smooth my face is after each use. As I said in the cons, it's difficult to shave your upper lip. You have to hold the razor at odd angles to get every little hair. But it's still well worth it.

Pros: My skin is sensitive and I have been using electric shavers for about 11 years now after having decided that the close shave of blade razors wasn't worth regular red skin and frequent pimple nicks and plain ole cuts; was never a fan of using shaving cream either. That said I used norelco razors up until this one (about 10 years.)

pros compared to norelco 3 circle head shavers in my experience:

* This razor does far better with a longer beard. With norelco I could shave every other day comfortably and by the third day it could be done but was wincing from pulled hair, by day 4 i had to prep the hair using the trimmer. With this I can easily shave a 4 day old beard and was able to carefully mow down a 5 day beard without the trimmer.

* This shaver is much quicker then the norelco shavers. With norelco shave averaged 6-8 minutes (unless using the trimmer to prep it was longer,) this one is averaging 3-4 minutes.

* This razor shaves blade close and ZERO skin irritation

Cons: * The norelco is better for shaving the upper lip. In fact I haven't figured out how to shave my upper lip using this razor. I still use my norelco in this area.

In my opinion though the time savings, less irritation and closer shave are worth this extra step.

Other Thoughts: It took about 7 shaves for my face skin to adjust and learn how to shave with it. The first couple of shaves took just as long as the norelco but I think this is because of technique as well as skin adjusting.

Pros: Can use in the shower. Battery level meter, Cleaner cartridges instead adding liquid. Flexible Head.

Cons: Leaves patches every where. Doesn't cut my upper lip area at all. I have a real tough beard. I also have a $60.00 Norelco does the same job. Wet also. This shavor is a waste of money. Way too expensive!

Other Thoughts: The reviewer that said he received a close shave from this product must had been lying or didn't have a real man's 5 Clock Shadow.

Pros: Just got it yesterday and used it today, I can say it is the best shaver I have ever used, shaving was almost fun, I did not feel like putting it down. I have ingrown hair and usually get bumps, it tackled everything no probelm. Given that I have been using other panasonic foil shaver for a while, if you are first time electric users give it 15-20 days and you will never go back to razors

Cons: Pricey,

Other Thoughts: Best price on newegg, but if you really are a reluctant shaver like me , this definetly will make your pain a little less, is $300 worth that? It is for me

Pros: PRICE! New Egg has the best price around, and while I am writing this it is even lower than when I bought it a month ago! No irritation at all. Allows for as much beard prep as you want (shaving creams and pre-shave oils). Capable of getting a razor-like shave when going against the grain, which I can't do with a razor more than once a month....but I can everyday with this electric razor. Less time consuming when compared to other electric razor, takes me about 6-7 minutes, and I like to get every bit of stubble I can find.

Cons: Cleaning base is loud. Also it doesn't have a great smell to it like the Braun cleaning solution. Takes longer time than the Braun to clean and dry. You are still able to get hairs that lay down that can form into what appears to be ingrown, but again with good beard prep you can really minimize this.

Other Thoughts: I have tried many different electric razors in the past 8 months. I have had the philips norelco with that lotion, the Braun 7, the Braun 5 and now this Panasonic. The Panasonic ES-LA93 is more advanced than the top of the line Braun and anything else out there. The Braun however has a better cleaning base. But I choose a better shave over a better method of cleaning.

I have a very thick beard with odd growth patterns. I also like to smooth skin which has been a problem for awhile now because I can't shave everyday without irritation, and especially could not shave against the grain to get that smooth feeling. With this razor I am able to get what I consider the perfect shave every day.

If you do decided to purchase this unit, be sure to give it the 30 days of break in. Like every other electric razor, your face needs time to adjust. It just got better and better by the week for me until that 30 day break in was done.

Pros: Amazingly close shave, completely waterproof so you can shave in the shower, compatible with whatever shave gel/cream you use, easy to clean, 1 hour time to fully charge, Newegg has the best price I've found for it.

Cons: Cleaning base it noisy enough that I won't be able to use it if my wife is still sleeping in the bedroom, but it does a great job. Cleaning base detergent cartridges last a month before they need replacing.

Other Thoughts: Pricey, but it's currently the top of the line Panny wet/dry. You get what you pay for, this thing is pretty amazing.
