Only good for hardwood and low-pile carpets Poor job with pet hair on carpets Other Thoughts: I don't know - for me, this vacuum fit my needs and hence I am giving it 4-eggs. It is nice in that it has strong suction, is easily maneuverable, and is lightweight. If you are using this as a second vac (like, one to keep upstairs), this is a reasonable option. It is quiet; there are lots of good things about it. I would NOT recommend using this a a primary vac in a house with lots of carpet, or houses with pets. But, for a second vac, and one that is easy to move around and one that is good for getting under beds or other furniture - this one may have a place for you. I like it, but it is not my only vacuum.
