Rosewill 4-Piece Ceramic Knife Set

Pros: I got this RAM kit to breath a little more life out of my dying PC. These worked great I can now have a little more time before diving in and building a new computer

Cons: NONE ATM

Pros: Extremely sharp. Good handle design. Glides through vegetables effortlessly.

Cons: None noted. Can't criticize ceramic for being brittle, because that's what ceramic is, it's hard but brittle.

Other Thoughts: Must use carefully. Abuse will damage the knife, and if you touch the blade, it will cut skin easily. Not for tourists.

Pros: Wayyy better than steel knives as they stay sharp about 4 times as long, very inexpensive for extremely good quality. I had one of these for 2 years and it is still sharp so I bought the whole set this time.

Cons: Not pretty but who cares......

Other Thoughts: buy now, you won't be sorry

Pros: Good grip. Sleak. Cuts well.

Cons: KNIFE VERSUS CHEESE

cheese won. Yes. I was cutting cheese with one of these knives and the blade actually broke in two. I laughed hilariously. No, the cheese was not stale. It was pepperjack cheese. Good stuff. Bad knife. Other knives still going well.

Pros: These knives are SHARP, you can shave the hair on your arm with them, and they stay that way. They are much sharper than what most people are used to working with. Be careful with them, especially if you're not a professional and don't usually use sharp knives.

Cons: They will chip if you cut against a hard surface or break if you drop them.

Other Thoughts: I bought a set for my dad. I didn't know if he'd like them or not, he's always sharpened his own knives and kept them very sharp but he's nearly 80 years old now and doesn't keep up with some things like he once did.
When he got these he put his other kitchen knives away, he said these are great. He also told me that the part about breaking if dropped isn't an exaggeration, he dropped his favorite one and it shattered. That's OK though, he's getting along just fine with the other three, and he's a lot more careful now.

Pros: They are sharp as hell and work beautifully for their intended purpose

Cons: I received a set of these as a gift and i was initially impressed with how well they worked but I was also warned that they were fragile. Boy, that was an understatement. I handwashed and dried them, kept them in a separate holder and babied them for a couple of weeks and then I made the mistake of putting one in the bottom of my sink. I don't know what it touched (and I mean "touched") but within 15 seconds the tip was chipped away. Hell, Mayo comes in more durable glass container's. Anyway, I think that they are too thin and for that reason they are not going to be durable regardless of how well you baby them, but they are cheap and if you can live with their "dying a little bit everyday you use them" they are awesome to work with.

Pros: Price!! set of 4 pieces ceramic knife
Real Sharp, slice veggie and fruits like tofu. also slice evenly even very thin cuts.( also see Cons)

Cons: 4"(?) knife about to broke to 2 parts. Like other ppl said in review.
It got dent too easily. (My parents used this knife to slice veggie and fruits on soft wooden cutting board for their breakfast)
2 of them got dent all over knife even maintained very careful.(my dad even made place for only this ceramic knife with paper towel and sponge on drawer in kitchen)

Other Thoughts: I'm gonna try to exchange to new one. If not? oh well
My dad said give a try for one more time. He likes this knife very much. like i said after he used he made a special place to put this dedicate knifes.

Pros: Recently gave my old knife set to my niece and got a new set from Macy's. They where so dull my husband waned to trash them. I came across these actually looking for something else. I heard some time ago ceramic knives where sharper and also more sanitary so thought I would give them a try. They are Extremely sharp. Easy to care for. Wish I did this sooner. Was a little weary about buying Rosewill because I frequently buy there computer parts and thought that was their thing but I guess knives are also. I got mine on sale but have paid full price sooner if I knew. Great buy. Highly recommend. I hear if taken care of properly they stay sharp longer than regular knives.

Cons: Not a con for this set but actually all ceramic knives. They are more fragile than regular knives but still sturdy enough.

Other Thoughts: Great buy at any price. Probably giving out a few sets this year for Christmas.

Pros: Don't try cutting anything hard with these knives and you'll be a happy camper. That goes for frozen stuff, anything with bones, etc. Good all-around knives for cutting all fruit & veggies. Easy to clean & they don't absorb odors. Absolutely no problems with handles.

Cons: Haven't checked out other ceramic knives so don't know how these compare in sharpness, but for the price you can't go wrong. They will eventually chip; so just be aware of this limitation with ceramic knives in general. Smaller knives will be harder to use if you have large hands. Very demanding cooks will generally use much higher quality carbon steel knives but still should find some uses for these ceramic ones.

Other Thoughts: Our first set was bought on a whim when Newegg had a set special in 2011. Immediately broke one on frozen chicken. We have a couple left from that purchase - wife said to be on the lookout for future deals as they are now her favorite knives.
