Pros: Well made, sturdy, sharp. Exactly like knives costing 4X more.

Cons: None.

Pros: Very well made, especially at the low Newegg promo price. I would buy them again.

Cons: They don't do the cutting for you.

Other Thoughts: The knives in this set are every bit as good as the affordable versions of name-brand knives like Wusthof or Henckels. Both of those brands sell multiple knife "series". Only the most expensive series are made in Germany; all the rest are made in China these days. These are sharpened at the standard "American - European" angle of 15 degrees, not the "Asian" angle of 10 degrees. Buy your sharpener accordingly.

Pros: Knifes were very sturdy and very sharp. Great selection of Knifes for any kitchen use.

Cons: Was missing scissors

Other Thoughts: Did take any eggs off for scissors missing as Newegg offered free delivery and it arrive fast too.

Pros: It's a lot of bang for the buck. This is my first real set of knives. I had previously worked through callouses and blisters using a set of thrifted, blunted straight edge blades. I'm hoping to have these blades for at least a few years. They are honed to a decently fine edge: I chopped onion with virtually no tears.

Cons: As always, a knife is only as good as its handle. I found myself gripping a lot of the blades a little awkwardly after a while. At 5'10", they're not ergonomically optimal for me. But I didn't expect them to be whence buying online, so caveat emptor.

Other Thoughts: Remember, with any straight edge blade, the best way to keep it sharp is hone it on the steel about 5-10 times every time you use it, either before or afterward. Even then, you have to bring it to a professional sharpener once a year. And serrated blades can't be sharpened.

Pros: All of these knives are very sharp. The chef's knife is great for cutting everything. The knives all have a nice balanced weight and feel sturdy. I got it on sale for $35!

Cons: Only thing I don't like is the bread knives. I don't find them very effective at cutting bread because they are so thick and rigid. I guess that is more of a personal preference though.

Pros: Look up "Hampton Forge HMC01B607A Continental 15-Piece Cutlery Set" and read the reviews. What's that? That set looks the same?!?! That's because it is. Get it from Rosewill at half the price.

I am a professional cook. Rather than bringing my expensive knifes home with me every night, I decided to buy this set. I figured for the price, I couldn't go wrong. While these knifes are nowhere near what I use at work, they are a solid lot. They are very heavy duty. I mean HEAVY. Great set for the home kitchen.

Cons: I'm not a huge fan of the Bolster running all the way down. When I use the chef's knife it hampers my cutting style.

Plan on doing some sharpening. This should be a given, but I guess everyone expects a finger-taker out of the box. Not really a con for me, I like sharpening knifes, just something to look out for.

Other Thoughts: Ignore Dennis' busted English review and buy these knifes. The shears are fine. If anything, they are light. Crying about an upside down logo? Please...

Pros: Good set of Knives. Works good for what I need.

Pros: Well made. Priced low for what you get. Worth much more.

Cons: none for the price.

Pros: Just like the product description says, all the knives you need, they're sharp and have a nice heft/feel.

Cons: Rough edges on the wooden block missed some sanding, but that's easily fixed. Scissors don't seem quite as nice as the knives.

Other Thoughts: An amazing bargain at $25 delivered with Newegg code.

Pros: Many pieces at low price (when it on super sale day) not at normal price. Come with wooden block knifes holder.

Cons: Scissor look and feel cheaper than dollar tree version. Huge piece of plastic Knife sharpen stick end with cut probably someone got bored at production line and decided to test others cheap knife. Did I mention cheap knifes? oops I just disclose the rest of my feedback opinion. Another laughable is that Rosewill metal tag was place upside down. LOL. Exactly there isn't any quality control what so ever and by this will cost us time and probably $$$ to send them back.

Other Thoughts: When I first took the wooden block out of the box and was quickly notices the metal tag Rosewill stamp upside down?. I wasn't sure until I place it on a table just to verified and yes it was. Right there I already knew what exactly i'm going to see next and yes my guess never wrong. If you're looking for a knife set look elsewhere.
