A great addition to the modern kitchen, the Rosewill RHAI-13001 Induction Cooker allows you to cook with the power of a magnetic field. By only heating the pan and its contents, the induction technology reduces waste heat when compared to a gas cooktop. And since there is no traditional heating element, the induction cooker stays cool, enabling a safer operation. With the induction cooktop you can braise, deep fry, stir fry, roast, fry, and even boil water, with higher power efficiency and a lower risk of scalding.

Please Note:

Not every cookware piece will work with induction cooktop. If a magnet sticks well to the base of a pan, that pan will work on an induction cooktop. Please avoid using any cookware made with aluminum, glass, or copper.

  • newegg High Power The induction cooker has eight power levels from 300 to 1800 watts, and eight temperature settings from 140 to 460°F, to suit your various needs.
  • newegg Easy Control Easy-to-understand touch buttons allow intuitive control, while the four-digit LED large screen display lets you glance at the setting. The 00:00-02:59 Timer setting offers you more flexibility.
  • newegg Overheating Protection Function For better protection of the cooker itself and your property.

2 out of 5 eggsWould have preferred something else

Pros: good selection for both temp or wattage ranges, very sleek design, easy to clean surface thanks to how smooth it is.

Cons: Okay, admittedly I've only used this to cook burgers on, but the way the induction works, to have it actually heat the pan quickly has caused my pans to bloom fairly quickly. ie: they have started to have a bluish/black discoloring from being used with this induction plate. It's possible that Thicker Pots/pans would not experience this, but still be cautious. This issue is especially apparent with the Pot that is included.

Other Thoughts: Look elsewhere, this particular induction plate looks nice, but it's way to easy to watch thin pans glow and likely have to replace way sooner than you should have to consider if cooking pan items, soups and other mixes that include noodles you might be okay using as it would more easily distribute the heat being generated.

FOLLOWING ARE COMMENTS FROM “WRITE A REVIEW” THAT I THOUGHT I'D ANSWER

Comment.
There are very few temperature settings available on this product. For example, it is not possible to lightly boil water, it either has to be a rolling boil or not boil at all.
Answer.
Try adjusting the pot cover to one side to let steam off or remove the pot cover completely. I have 2 units and their operation is identical.

Comment;
Don't turn it on with an empty pan on top. I didn't find that in the included engineering booklet. I have burned and glued to the pan, stir fry vegetables, eggs.
Answer;
It is in the book> Safety Caution
11.Do not cook with an empty pan/pot. It is very dangerous and will cause unit malfunction.

Comment;
Magnets don't stick to real stainless steel.
Answer;
Wrong, there is NON-magnetic and magnetic stainless steel

Comment.
The on/off light blinks constantly when plugged in.
Answer;
What does it keep you awake.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: EXCELLENT

3 out of 5 eggsNoise fan

Pros: It heats up every fast, has good adjustable setting.

Cons: Very noise fan, it makes tag tag tag sound from the fan.also the pot is very thin compare to the other one I bought (Tatung)

Other Thoughts: I bought three all together , 2 Tatung and 1 Rosewill.i would got all Tantung instead.more solid feel even it heat up little slower than Rosewill, cause 1500 watts vs 1800 watts

4 out of 5 eggsWork better than expected

Pros: This is my 1st induction cooker. Work great. Heat up fast at high power setting. Keep warm at low temperature setting. Great for hot pot and steaming. Surface is not burning hot after removing the pot. The control buttons are simple and work well for me.

Cons: The fan noise is a little high. But sort of expected for a low cost induction cooker. Compare to any other exhaust or cooling fans, it is not bad at all.

Other Thoughts: Over all the unit look and feel well-built. Hope it will last.
