1 out of 5 eggsI was also tricked by $30 coupon

Pros: Cooks rice well; Steams well; Brown rice and White rice both cooked well

Cons: Less than 1 year life span for a rice cooker that is valued more than some of other big brands
My sanyo rice cooker lasted for 6 years; this rosewill rice cooker lasted for less than 1 year
No way to clean the mess upside
Lots of sedimentation where the steam comes out; no way to clean

Other Thoughts: Thank you NewEgg but I am going back to some very ordinary rice cooker brand which are way cheaper compared to Rosewill but has awesome reviews...I will never again fall trap for these $30 coupon...

2 out of 5 eggsSomething Isn't Right About This Ricecooker

Pros: -Large, does not spill out starchy liquid like my old Tiger rice cooker that I've had for 12 years.

Cons: I cook brown jasmine rice primarily with this cooker. Anyone who has ever cooked brown rice knows it takes longer than white jasmine rice. This rice cooker would frequently go from cooking to warm mode quickly and generate a burning smell within 15 minutes of starting the cooker. When you open it up, the rice is still in a big puddle of bubbling water. Pressing the "off" button and pushing the start button sometimes works, but other times you have to disconnect the power, and then restart the thing again for it continue cooking.

Other Thoughts: In all, I'm having serious doubts about this one. I've used my Tiger for more than a decade. If it weren't for the starchy mess it makes with brown rice, I wouldn't have tried this "fuzzy logic" device. I'm not sure I made the right choice.

5 out of 5 eggsFuzzy Logic Awesomeness

Pros: I can't name all the pro's but this rice cooker has not once let me down. I've cooked Jasmine rice and short grain Botan rice with it. Comes out epically perfect. I usually use Nishiki short grain brown rice and beautiful just cannot go wrong with this. I've made soup in it and oh my gosh it was awesome and the best part of all? Well it has many best of all features but I was quite pleased with how it keeps the rice hot for up to 24 hours ;) So if you make soup or what not it works awesome.

It's a great deal cheaper than the big brands but works JUST as good if not better. I love the fact I can take the lid apart to clean it. I use this religiously for cooking various things.

Cons: SO far I have not yet seen any CON's about it. For some it may be clunky space taker but it serves it's purpose so it's not really a con. Because that space it takes up is a space it pays for it's self. In otherwords. It deserves to take up that space on your counter. If you use it alot.

Other Thoughts: I will definintly buy this again from Roswill if it breaks down. All I need is to get another insert for it. Just to have on hand. I got this large one because I cook a lot for a big family. The smaller one works great for a couple . ;)

5 out of 5 eggsReview for Rosewill RHRC-13002 Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker

Pros: -Great rice cooker for the price (got it for $65 after tax & shipping)
-Large enough for 20 cooked cups of rice
-LCD display is awesome, gives heads up of a lot of information such as temperature, time, etc.
-comes with 8 pre-programmed modes although we only use about 3 of them
-comes with non-stick coated pot (essential for Asian Rice or any other rice for that matter)
-comes with plastic spoon rice scooper and measuring cup
-3 dimension cooking, I don't know too much about this but it's supposed to be a better way of cooking the far the rice has come out perfect every time I use this thing!
-cooks both white and brown rice too
-it runs super quiet, don't even know it's on unless you read the LCD screen
-lastly, it runs cool and doesn't get hot to the touch. This is great if you have kids.
-Warm functionality keeps the rice warm and rice doesn't spoil for up to 2 days! You just need to press the warm button every 12 hours...
-We also cooked super sticky Asian rice in it and it turned out wonderful!

Cons: Super bulky - it takes a lot of counter space
Rice Warm button only keeps the rice warm for 12 hours at a time, need a button to keep the rice warm ALL OF THE TIME!
Both of these are just minor stars taken away.

Other Thoughts: If you want a great Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker, this product is not that bad at all! I was very worried and hesitant to purchase it, but after using it for over 2 months now...I know I made the right choice. There are OTHER named brands out there with similar products but for the price ($65), Rosewill's brand is just as good.

I'd highly recommend this product for great price, best rice cooker I've had so far, it keeps the rice warm for long periods of time and it has (so far) been very reliable. All of the other features are just cherries on the top for me! GET ONE if you need to cook lots of rice at a time (family of 9 young and hungry teens and adults). We're Asian too so we use this to cook rice 3 times a day!

1 out of 5 eggsBurns rice

Pros: None

Cons: You need to constantly monitor it

Other Thoughts: I have the 20 cup model since May 2014 (little over 6 months). You need to be constantly stirring the rice so that it does not get burn at the bottom, defeating the purpose on an automatic rice cooker. If let unattended, either the rice will be a combination of raw and burn at the bottom. I regret this purchase and would have gone with a cheaper less "intelligent" rice cooker.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Quality

Pros: Rosewill is proving to be a solid company for products. Similar to another company that creates quality products, the idea is to provide quality products at prices affordable for average people. I use this daily for most part. So far so good.

Cons: None that i am aware of

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Cooks white and brown rice perfectly. There is a brown function built in, but its not actually for brown rice. Its a stone pot function so the rice in the bottom of the cooker cooks a little crunchy. I LOVE IT! Have also steamed vegetables, potatoes, and eggs with no problem at all. Even tried making cornbread (not an advertised feature) And it turned out great! If it lasts a few years I'm a forever customer

Cons: My only beef with the product was probably intended to be a "feature." It only seems to keep your rice warm for 12 hours. then it will simply stop warming the rice. Ah well. I just make smaller fresh batches now.

3 out of 5 eggsNo Preset timer for brown rice

Pros: Cooks good

Cons: There is no preset time for brown rice, like you can set the cooker to start/end after certain time for brown rice.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is what a case should be

Pros: Was debating on this or another case, and I am very happy I went with the THOR. The air flow is fantastic, the Red LEDs look great, the fans are all super quiet.

Cons: This case is heavy, but I do not really consider it a con.

Other Thoughts: This case is a monster. I love the front mounted USB 3 ports, fan controls, and the vents on the top for added air flow. I cannot imagine needing a new case for years and years to come.
