4 out of 5 eggs4 years and still going

Pros: Great build quality and good airflow for light jobs.

Cons: Gets hot with prolonged use, more that 4 min. PSI is not strong enough to blow all of the dust out. Somewhat loud.

Other Thoughts: I am very impressed that this device has lasted so long. I use it often in 5 minute intervals for dusting old computers. The PSI is not nearly that of a can of air but considering how long it has lasted I think this purchase was worth every penny. I use this first to remove most of the dirt and dust and hit the computer once with canned air to remove the remaining. Doesn't replace canned air but a good companion.

5 out of 5 eggsSaves me time on electronic cleaning.

Pros: * Sturdy, solid, construction. Durable paint job.
* Not overly heavy. Doesn't tire the arm with extended use. Handle has a good comfortable fit for my big hand.
* Off/On switch conveniently located for one hand operation.
* Generous cord length eliminates the need for an extension cord in my work area.
* The included micro tool kit a plus for electronic cleaning.
* Provides a powerful continous air flow.
* Has a cleanable air filter so that you not reblowing the dust back into your project.

Cons: * Only problem I encountered was with the catch for mounting the tools on the nozzle. It was painted closed so I had to trim a little excess paint out the hole in order to get it moving freely. This something quality control should have caught before for packing. Not a big deal, but worth notiing.

Other Thoughts: * I previously used my air compressor for dedusting all my electronic projects since it was better and more affordable than canned air. Only problem with the compressor was the extra setup / take down time plus the air pressure varied depending on the air reserve. The product offers a quick and easy alternative to accomplish the same cleaning task with a steady air pressure.
* Although the loudness of the unit is frequently mentioned in the reviews, I've found the noise level is comparable to our upright Eureka vacuum and less noisier than my Shop Vac. Loud, but livable.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid product but not a vacuum

Pros: Solid construction. Excellent air volume

Cons: A bit loud.

Other Thoughts: I bought this not reading the description fully. It is only a blower and does not vacuum. It is still an excellent product, but not exactly what I was looking for. It will still be put to good use.

4 out of 5 eggsElectric Dusting Makes Sense

Pros: The DataVac blows out all of the major debris of dust thoroughly enough to keep the PC running in the best
condition. It's more convenient than using an air
compressor that makes you wait and wait for the
next burst air to come to a certain level of pressure.
On the other hand, using the canned air alternative is dangerous and I'll never go back to it again. I hate to
think of what that gas would do to sensitive hardware
over time.

Cons: The only thing I noticed is that there is a very thin layer of dust that still wasn't blown away from some of my hardware devices. Even though, that's not really a big deal, as long as the computer runs at it's best.

Other Thoughts: For those new to dusting out the inside of a PC, never have the duster to close, it's possible something might go wrong.
Seriously, this product is powerful, don't underestimate it just because it's small.

4 out of 5 eggsThis thing BLOWS...In a good way!

Pros: As review title says, this thing can really blow. Hard. Fast. and long. Has lots of stamina, unlike those cans which freeze in your hand after a few squeezes of the trigger. Has lots of attachments that help get the air in all sorts of deep crevices and holes.

Cons: Motor heats up the housing to scary levels after a minute of continuous use. LOUD, dear lord is this thing loud.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I think this is a nice way to dust your electronics. My main issue with this device is the noise it generates. You really cannot use this in an office environment without disturbing everyone within 100 ft. Seriously, this thing sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

If you buy this for your office, just try to use it in an area away from other people during the day.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is what I 've been looking for ...

Pros: - Very powerful
- Cable is long
(long enough for me to take out my pc to doorway and blow the dust out so i don't need to clean the dust in my room)
- Have a filter in the bottom, easy to clean

Cons: - Super loud.
- Become pretty hot after short time of use, but not too bad.
- the hoses that come with the product are hard to attach and detach.

Other Thoughts: The best dust blower ever. Should have found this long ago and saved my money spent on other similar products which are not good ...

Got this when it was on sale for $55. Great deal.

If you plan to do it on your desk, remember take out other small stuffs (like papers/memos ...etc) around the area or it will blow them all miles away...

Make sure to dry the filter first after washing it and before insert it back and use again.
