One of the best-known names in shaving, Remington, continues to go the extra mile for their customers.
Foil-head shavers offer some of the closest shaves possible for an electric, but they have one problem: the heads are literally steel foil. Over time, wear can affect even steel. But if you make it thicker, you lose the advantages of foil's thinness. Enter titanium, a substance so hard, machinists prefer to etch it instead of cut it. A thin layer of titanium coats the foil head, slowing the effects of Father Time. A full charge can do up to fifty-five minutes of shaving time. Washable, too, for easier cleaning.
There are a lot of good razors out there, but once you've done your homework, you just may find that this is the one you've been looking for all along.

No Worldwide Voltage
- Pros: Smooth, close shave
- Cons: No worldwide voltage on the 5100. Noisy.
Disappointed
- Pros: Well, I wanted to try an electric shaver after going it the old fashioned way for 30 years. Figured it would reduce my shaving times a little to save about 2 minutes of my day. Got a great deal on this from Newegg, and the reviews seemed good. I have read that your face, for whatever reason, must become "accustomed" to using an electric shaver. I have stuck with it so far, but my shave times have not been reduced at all. In fact, they may have increased as I have to continually go over areas numerous times.
- Cons: Not as close as cream and a razor. Very noisy. Kinda bulky.
- Other Thoughts: It does what it's supposed to do, just not that well for me. I had my eye on a $100 Panasonic, but figured I'd try this first. I'll probably either go back to a razor or get the Panasonic in the future. BTW, I did try to use the "powder" that Remington recommends, but really haven't noticed that it helps any.
