1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap. Would work fine for brewing coffee.

Cons: Cheap. After my first run on the finest setting I found the grounds were too course for espresso. I took it a part and lowered the grinders. I may have lowered them a little too far. By my 4th bag of beans it stopped, and was bogged down. It was hard to get to and clean the build up on the inside. I threw the machine away. Picked up one from a nearby national big-box store this evening and the grounds are perfect.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap and flimsy. Avoid.

Pros: Worked OK for 2 weeks.

Cons: Motor burned out in 2 weeks of moderate usage. Was careful not to let it grind for too long in a row, babied it. Still died. Device feels flimsy. Grind hopper shape makes no sense whatsoever, it's almost like designed to dump grinds everywhere whenever you make coffee. Also, it doesn't matter what size grind you select, it will jam at either regular coffee sized (3-5) or espresso (1-3).

Other Thoughts: Grinding mechanism is all one piece. You can't even take it apart to clean it. Astonishingly shoddy engineering. You get what you pay for.
