Cons: Can only be recharged through charge stand; not directly through razor. This makes it hard to travel with. The trimmer is under powered and of very little use. (I haven't had to charge it yet.) Offers a great wet shave! Looks rad. Cons: Nothing gets as close as a traditional razor. The trimmer is almost useless. Not a good dry shaver. Other Thoughts: I'm new to using an electric (Hence my low tech knowledge rating). I actually cut myself with this razor during my first use. Pros: -Very close shave (almost as close as with say... a mach 3) -Quiet -Fast -Great build quality Cons: -Trimmer is a bit noisy when you enable it -High initial cost Other Thoughts: I switched over to this because I have to shave on a daily bases and cartridges will irritate my skin if I use them that much. This get's about as close as 5 hours after a Fusion or Quattro shave, but since you can shave without irritation you are able to shave multiple times per day if you want to. This does cost a lot at first (the 12xx series all use the same tech btw), but if you replace your cartridge in your current razor once a week, you'll end up paying about $175 per year, and these heads last for a year (recommended). Before I bought this 1250X I had bought a 1050, but the difference between the shaves are night and day- most notably the 12xx heads destroy those 'against the skin' neck hairs on the first pass without any hits against my skin. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
