This review is from: LASKO 1850 18" Remote Control Performance Pedestal Fan Pros: Was easy to put together, instructions are good. The remote is nice. Moves a good deal of air for the size and its not overly heavy to move around. Cons: Has one HUGE flaw... When the power goes out for even a second, you HAVE to press the button on the front of the fan to get it turn back on! HUGE design flaw for a REMOTE CONTROLLED FAN! If the lights flicker in the middle of the night in the summer time from storms, someone has to get up and press the stupid button on the fan. The remote wont turn it back on! Other Thoughts: Had to plug it into an UPS to prevent this from driving me nuts. Also the remote has a narrow field of direction. even from 10 ft away you have to move it around to get it to make contact with the sensor. Did you find this review helpful?
