4 out of 5 eggsExcellent heater

Pros: The 8 hour timer, the remote control the auto thermo sensor.
The heater turns on -2 degrees of your settings and shuts off 2 degree above your setting and will constantly maintain a decent tempature in any room.

Cons: I have pets and I have to turn this unit off when I leave the room "IT" does NOT have a flip over turn off feature. If one of my pets was to tip this unit over it would continue to attempt to keep the temp it was set on. Possibly injuring one or more pets or just a hazzard.

Other Thoughts: "IF" you have some electronic experience you could add a car door electronic plunger to the bottom of the unit and make your own auto turn off feature and Probally void the warranty. But you would have a safer heater for any occasion. Just wished the Company had thought of it. 4 eggs for this reason

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome heater

Pros: Good quality
Remote
Digital display
Thermostat

Cons: Beeping noise every time you hit a button is a little on the loud side.

Other Thoughts: Please take the other reviews with a grain of salt. This heater works really well. The thermostat does exactly what its supposed to do. Of course it goes 2 degrees above what you set it at. Its the only way to keep it from staying on 24/7.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOY BUY!!

Pros: NONE!

Cons: This heater smells of melting plastic and never stopped smelling. When it turns off, you can smell intense burning plastic coming out of it. Then it will not turn back on until you unplug it to reset it. After 2 weeks of use (about 2 hours a day), it will not turn on - its dead.

Other Thoughts: Probable high danger of fire.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat heater with remote

Pros: remote and digital thermostat.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: A lot of low eggs on here so I had to say something. The thermostat is supposed to go 2 degrees hotter than you set it, this is so the heater isn't constantly turning on..... People saying the housing was overheating and the cord almost set a fire, sounds like a lie because it's "cool touch" housing and why would the cord be frying? Did these people have the heater blowing on the cord or something? !GOOD HEATER! 5 EGGS!

1 out of 5 eggsFeels sicky

Pros: No Pros.

Cons: You will start feeling sicky within few minutes of its start.

Other Thoughts: You will start feeling sicky within few minutes of its start. There is a design problem with this heater. For example if you set the temperature to 70 degree, this heater runs till it reaches 75 degree before it turns off. I spoke to Lasko customer service, they said "this is designed that way, so that the machine shuld not start/stop too many times". Wow, what a creative idea!! Stay away from Lasko products. If you want a real portable heater, go for a Oil-Filled Portable Radiator Heater.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little heater

Pros: It works great for supplemental heating. I turn it on a few hours before I go to bed and turn it off before I fall asleep and it warms the room up nicely. I've had no problems with the thermostat or the heating element and I've used it every winter for 3 years and counting. It's a great little heater and I would buy a second one if I had a use for it.

Cons: No issues

4 out of 5 eggsDecent space heater

Pros: I have had this product for 2 full winters now it heats nicely my thermostat isn't broken but its considerably off compared to my other ones 4-8 degrees over all it keeps my room near where i set it to be.

Cons: remote is nice but my batteries die in it very fast, and that thermostat issue.

Other Thoughts: bought mine at local retail for 60 almost 2 years ago no regrets.

1 out of 5 eggsWorks great, until it doesn't.

Pros: Heats well while it works.

Cons: As the others have said, I have also had the thermostat go crazy and not shut off. It seems to be completely random, but there are times when it will heat the bedroom up to 85 when the thermostat is set at 70.

Turning the thermostat up or down a degree makes it go, "oh cr@p! I guess I should've shut off awhile ago!!" and shuts off.

2 out of 5 eggsNot bad but doesn't last

Pros: Works well when it works. Portable, decent airflow

Cons: Really not built to last more than 1 winter..

Other Thoughts: I have had several of these and have always bought them with an "extended" warranty (something I normally never do). They work pretty well at first but I have had to return these almost every year due to the fact that they burn out.
