It's unusually thick, and as a consequence I'm unable to properly mount it in the window it was intended for while the screen is on. Other Thoughts: It does come with "legs" that allowed me to stand it up on the windowsill. It's not as effective as it would otherwise be, but it helps. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Lasko is a good name for home fans. Cons: The item states that it can be positioned for intake or exhaust. It should be stated a little more clearly that the fan has to be physically taken out of the window and turned around. I was under the impression that it had reverse switches on it, but oh well.
