5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan!

Pros: Fan is quiet, blows clear across room.
The fan also doesn't use much power compared to others I've measured.
I like the tower design, doesn't take a lot of room and stick out like a large conventional fan would.

Cons: Using the remote is a bit difficult to hit the receiver if you are seated low, but I've become used to it.

Other Thoughts: I'm considering buying another, making a total of 3. I really do like these fans.
color isn't my favorite, but it isn't terrible

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome purchase

Pros: Super awesome ionizer option (can't really tell a difference with it on or off honestly), HUGE fan, built in timer, remote, SUPER quiet, and easy construction.

Cons: Doesn't come in black,

Other Thoughts: Some people say that they don't like the oscillator because it's not wide enough but I honestly haven't had any problems with it not rotating enough for me.

I also haven't used the remote much but it's always worked when I have used it. It has a reasonable range for me, but again i'm just using it for my bedroom.

Also, as MASSIVE as this fan is, it's quieter than my hand heater and any other fan that I have used

4 out of 5 eggsNice Standard Fan and Ionizer

Pros: Pushes good amount of air for a fan this narrow. It has a nice rotation to cover the entire room. The ionizer is a nice plus. The remote is a nice plus but I find myself just keeping it at high speed.

Cons: I wish it would push more air, but that's probably asking too much.

Pros: Super easy to use, setup, and quiet!!

Cons: Two AAA batteries would have been nice for the remote.

5 out of 5 eggsLASKO 4820 Fan

Pros: My first tower fan ever and I have no complaints. Newegg shipped it quickly and the price was lower than other retailers. The base was very easy to assemble and the fan came with two base halves, remote control (AAA batteries excluded), 6 screws, instruction manual. You'll need a Philips #2 screwdriver and the assembly shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes. Very quiet fan even on setting #3 and very slim too. Should fit anywhere on the floor as long as you have enough space to fit the 12 inch x 12 inch base.

Cons: Oscillates about 90 degrees or so. I wouldn't really count this as a con since I prefer to angle the fan so that it is pointed toward a wall. As a result, the cool air can bounce off the wall and the air flow can spread efficiently.

3 out of 5 eggsBig and Quiet but not a blow hard

Pros: Tall so has broad air distribution
Quiet

Cons: Doesn't blow that hard
lower quality - the remote came in pieces, luckily I was able to put it back together.

Other Thoughts: I would have given up some quietness for more air flow.
Still not really sure why anyone needs to have ionized air.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It keeps my room very cool.

Cons: Not as quiet as everyone mentioned, but decent for the size of the fan.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Tower Fan Ever

Pros: -Tall size and large coverage area
-Three speeds with good selections of airflow
-Built-in ionizer for fresher air
-Remote control included
-VERY stable base and overall construction

Cons: -Low range of remote control operation
--To operate via remote, you have to aim the IR LED of the remote control DIRECTLY at the top of the fan where the IR sensor is; otherwise, it won't work.
-Color
--All of my other devices are black, and that looks a lot more appealing to me than silver. At least it's not white, though.

Other Thoughts: This is probably the best tower fan you can buy! It has a HUGE size and air circulation area for an affordable and reasonable price range. DEFINITELY buy this fan if you're looking for a tower fan. It's WELL WORTH the slightly higher price. The quality and reliability really shows. Overall, no problems or defects whatsoever (other than the very insignificant ones mentioned in the cons section). BEST FAN EVER!

5 out of 5 eggsWorth The Price!

Pros: This fan is quiet, but moves a lot of air! Assembly is simple. Has a air ionizer feature to cut down on airborne dust. Operation is pretty straight-forward....Hey, it's a fan!

Cons: Oscillation angle is tight..Less than 90 degrees. No batteries come with the fan for the remote, so be sure to have 2 AAA batteries handy. Remote sensing is high off the ground, so if you are lower than the viewing angle of the controls on top of the fan, it most likely won't work. I'm just being pickey now!

Other Thoughts: Not bad!...Not bad at all. I am very pleased with the purchase for the price and I am sure you will be too, if you want a nice fan with good features and a small footprint, this is it!

5 out of 5 eggsLove the fan

Pros: Quiet and powerful, even when oscillating. You plug it in..and literally have to remember to turn it off, because you forget about it being on. It becomes part of the environment.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Started with 1....ordered 2 more. One for every room.
