Pros: cheap - probably not a true "Pro"

Cons: I recently replaced an Oster immersion blender that broke after 10 years of casual use. This one was less expensive and I no know why. Making refried beans noticed a black color appearing in streaks. The rubber coating on the spindle appears to be either melting or disintegrating into the food - wasted $20 (at Sears) on this piece of equipment, 1 pound of dried pinto beans, and an hour of my time. Back to Oster equipment.
