Pros: its good at taking up space

Cons: it cant clean up after cats or get my carpet clean at all
spits out more hairballs than both my cats combined while "cleaning"

Other Thoughts: I own two cats,so when i'm looking to buy a product for cleaning i specifically look for one that is specifically designed for pets. While shopping at Canadian tire i had purchased the bissell pro heat 2x pets. Thinking foolishly that it would be more efficient in cleaning my carpet. When I took it home to try it out, it basically didn't do anything but tossed soaking cat fur around and left any dirt just as it was on the carpet.I had even tried sweeping first but this made no difference. When i called bissell the woman on the phone got very rude with me and told me that it's simply a steam cleaner and it cannot handle any hair. when i asked her why it would be advertised as a pet cleaner she said that its only good for cleaning vomit and fec*s. I explained to her it cannot even clean up my cats puke so basically if my cat puked up a hairball it wont be able to clean it up? then the customer service rep on the phone hung up on me. When i called back the next woman that i spoke to instructed me to take it apart clean it out and put it back together. I had difficulty figuring out how to get it together and this step was not properly explained to me and was extremely time consuming but finally when i got it put together it managed to get two strokes clean before it started tossing dirt around again and this is after how many attempts on the same carpet and after even manually cleaning it before hand. this was a waist of money. It is way more efficient to go down on my hands and knees and manually scrub the carpet rather then to use this horrible product. I'd even get my carpet cleaner if i simply dumped the letterbox on the carpet and rubbed that in.If anyone doesn't believe me, i have pics to prove what i'm saying Honestly this product should not advertise that its for cleaning up pet mess especially since it cannot even clean up one measly hair ball, that is false advertising and this company needs to be sued!

Pros: Very , very hot water. Works well while it works

Cons: Brush motor burned out after less than 6 months of normal use. This is was a common problem with these.

Other Thoughts: On this site now to order a replacement for my Hoover Steamvac which has finally given up the ghost after 4 years of heavy use ( Aging dogs ).

Pros: heats the water. You will get exercise refilling and emptying the steam cleaner. does about 6 sq ft per tank

Cons: Bought a Bissell 25A3, Don't bother.
I bought it because it heat up the water, a good sales pitch.
If you like filling and emptying the tank for every 6 square feet, then this is your model.
If I could find a wash machine that was 12 feet long, I'd use that instead. Your carpet after the spin cycle would be dryer than with this "carpet" machine. I was worried about my floor boards warping.

I had a Hoover before this one. Will trade for a Hoover.

Other Thoughts: Bissell doesn't want to hear from you

Pros: Has rotating brushes with heater line for water/soap solution. Seems to do a good job getting most the water back up and carpet dries quickly.

Cons: Very, very smaller container that doubles as the clean solution and dirt water tank, think of a tank in a tank, and you get the idea. Dunno if it even holds a gallon so it needs to be emptied all the time. I do not think it does a better than average job at getting the stains out. Now when this is used in combination with water only and LA's Totally Awesome, clean up is very good. Only one stubborn red stain that didn't come up all the way. All in all the frequency of having to empty the container and other minor items make me rate it average.

Other Thoughts: I used this for spot cleaning in bank trash out that I do, so it serves it purpose with me.
