Pros: Good for small batches to feed a couple people.

Cons: If for example you make quality vidalia onion rings you will only be able to fit two or three in there at once. French fries came out soggy and they were twice fried. Because of the machines low capacity for oil/food I felt enslaved to this machine at my BBQ. It resides now in a land fill. Also when I received my machine the bowl part came coated, when the picture at that time was of a stainless steel bowl, newegg refunded $5. I wish I returned it.

Other Thoughts: The timer worked fine on mine, but you have to keep checking it because when the time runs out the machine turns off. No on/off switch, just timer.

Pros: Heats up and cooks very fast. Only takes it about 2 minutes to reach the correct cooking temp.
Very easy to clean

Cons: The timer doesn't work. I would hate to have to send it back just because the stupid timer doesn't work.
The break away safety cord is a pain and a safety hazard all in one. I had to duck tape it to the unit so it would disconnect and arc against the metal rack

Other Thoughts: I be leave companies have over done it with safety features.
I would rather have the until get knocked off the counter and burn up instead of having the breakaway safety cord arc against metal surfaces and burn the house down.
