1 out of 5 swindles....

Pros: Nothing

Cons: they say 8 cup cooker, but it's not. It's just 4 cup. Good bye I won't return to you.

5 out of 5 eggsconvenient

Pros: Very convenient rice maker. Small, compact, and easy to use.

Cons: None. Hoping it'll have a long life!

Other Thoughts: RTM: "[Rice-measurer] is an important tool in using your rice cooker successfully and its size is standard in the rice industry. One rice-measurer cup does not equal one standard U.S. cup (plastic rice-measurer is 6 oz/180 ml or approximately 3/4 U.S. cup)."

1 out of 5 eggs8 cups? Don't get fooled

Pros: I haven't even tried it yet, after measuring the bowl.

Cons: This so-called 8 cup rice cooker actually has a maximum volume of only SIX (6) 8-ounce measuring cups. Worse still, filling the bowl to the MAX line, following the manufacturer's directions, you can put in only 5 1/3 8-ounce measuring cups total (rice plus water). I was planning to use this to cook brown rice for my dogs. I usually make a batch of 2 cups of raw rice with 6 cups water (the dogs like it mushy), so this "8-cup" machine should have been perfect. 5 1/3 cups won't do it.
