Pros: Got a great - no, shockingly amazing - deal on this set and needed a lot of the items for our camping gear.

- While it certainly is not high end stuff, the high quality of the plastics and finish really surprised us.

- In fact, we liked it so much we bought a second set, simply for the bowl (to add to our home collection). Large, well-finished and even has a ring of silicone-like material on the bottom to keep it from slipping.

- Would make a fine first apartment kitchen gear starter set.

Cons: - The clips work fine, but only for thin items. Not much jaw capacity.
- We do not use the colander/strainer. While it is very substantially made (thickness of the plastic), that thickness is a liability for cleaning the drain holes.

Other Thoughts: 5 eggs rating given the quality for the price.

Pros: Got this on sale and am very happy. The bowls are somewhat larger than I imagined but really like that they nest.

Pros: The set looked like a good deal for the price. I liked the measuring spoons, especially the larger ones which are rare.

Cons: The clips were the problem. The first 2 that I tried resulted in the little plastic horse shoe shaped piece snapping in two and flying across the room like a missile. I had to really scramble to find the piece before our puppy did (and probably swallow it). As result, I immediately threw away all of the bag clips...they're dangerous!
