Cons: Metal strip on handle, door spring breaks.

Other Thoughts: Metal strip on handle gets very hot...watch it! Door spring broke in half after 6 months. Door will slam onto counter if I'm not careful. This is a large unit...maybe too big for kitchens with limited counter space.

Pros: It heats up stuff... :)

Cons: Well, it worked great for about a year and still works. However, the LCD screen is now completely dead, you cannot tell any measurements or selections... it's a luck thing now. Thank goodness the only thing I use this for is to toast.

Other Thoughts: I am a big B&D fan but this thing is by far the worst B&D product. I do not recommend unless you would need this as a temp for another better product.

Cons: Packaging holding accessories together in box... Use knife to cut the tape! If you try to break the tape by hand you might warp / bend some of the thin trays that come with the cooker.

Other Thoughts: Exterior of oven will get hot- especially top. Be careful. Over-all a great purchase. Cuts my warm-up time to 4 minutes down from 20 compared to my home oven.

Pros: Cooks well, has as even heating as you will find in a toaster oven. Function is OK, but you will not get much joy from it - see below.

Cons: Worst UI since Microsoft Bob OS. One can't just set time /temp. You have to push a button to cook "cookies" or whatever, then _try_ to reset time and temp (only if you are in the correct time window and hold your tongue right). The preset selections are worthless, e.g., the "Potato" setting results is in rock hard (un)baked potatoes. Pathetic. Door is undamped and crashes if you release it. Not something you will be proud to have in your kitchen - looks cheap.Looks cheap - the sheetmetal fit reminds me of a $0.25 post-war Japanese toy.

Zero eggs for UPS - they tore Hell out of the box in shipping it. I'm amazed it survived. (Multiple large holes poked into both outer and inner box somehow manage to miss vital organs...)

Other Thoughts: The guts of this thing are pretty good, but they cheaped out, for another $2-3 they could have made it a thing of joy.
A decent UI would not cost anything extra, how much could a door damper and decent case cost? The beancounters destroyed this product.

Pros: I used this marvelous machine to daily toast breads, to bake bundt cakes and cupcakes monthly and even cooked pizzas on occasion. I love the automatic shut off and bell features. To my dismay the top element stopped working after two years, which means it stopped toasting and it now takes a very long time to reach a set temperature. It was great while it lasted! I will not buy another one.

Cons: Broiler does not work. The elements don't light up and the oven never heats up. When I use it for other cooking it takes for ever to warm up and cook. Probably because it's only using half it's heating elements. trying to contact B&D to get help

Other Thoughts: really a nice quality toaster oven and worth the few dollars more over a cheap one

Pros: This oven has convection and cooks very well. Temperature is very accurate and can be set using digital controls. Preheats quickly. Large interior for a toaster oven. Oven shuts off automatically so you don't ruin food.

Cons: The LCD display could be a bit brighter(hard to read in dim light)and the buttons have a snap-click feel - the controls and display seem like they came from an an early 80s VCR. Cook time cannot be adjusted until the oven preheats. Oven exterior gets pretty hot.

None of these issues should keep you from buying this product. It is head and shoulders above most inexpensive toaster ovens.

Other Thoughts: When it goes on sale in the mid 60$ range its a steal.

Cons: Slightly uneven heat distribution. It is just slightly hotter towards the back, only noticeable for longer cooking periods and on toast.
Toasting bread takes a little longer than a standalone toaster.
It does an acceptable job on bread toasting, but there are better bread toasters out there.

Other Thoughts: If you want to use this for some serious cooking, you will need to buy a quality Pyrex dish. I cannot stress that part enough. The included tray is flimsy and it doesn't clean easy at all. However, it has a perforated sheet that lies on top of it that works well for reheating pizza at least.

I've had this toaster oven for over a year and use it 2-3 times a week for baking and regularly for toasting. It is the best thing to happen to my kitchen. This is perfect if you cook for 1-3 people. The convection will crisp skin on chicken and make oven-browned potatoes like no other. I actually got a friend who is seriously considering buying this after trying some chicken I cooked in it a couple of weeks back.

The digital controls are a nice touch over conventional knobs. It isn't a guessing game when you operate it.

Overall, it is a quality product that I will continue to use regularly and cannot recommend it enough.
