Haier 1.7 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge with Freezer Compartment

Pros: Good temperature for drinks
At max cold, drinks get a slight slushy ice in them (aka it's cold)
Great price (although it was half off when I got it)
Quiet

Cons: Freezer exists (and it's not cold enough, although I have it on 6 instead of 7 (the coldness))
The spacing is odd, as I can't stand cans up in some places
The rack in the middle is kind of bad for holding cans
No light inside
The door doesn't hold bottles or cans very well, and often they fall out

Other Thoughts: I don't really think a freezer inside of it is even necessary, and would rather have more space, along with a light.

I'll probably end up buying a LED strip and hook up my own light inside of it.

Pros: it's great when it works,

Cons: noticed water driping from the freezer, tried the temp. dial on the back of the fridge between the settings 1 - 6 for about a week but nothing helps, seems like condenser stays off too long causing temp. to rise too much, now i only use it for soda. I used to put milk there, but it always goes bad after a day or two.

Pros: Unit has been running non-stop for several years with no problems.

To the reviewer who was not sure about the purpose of the plastic tray...it is for defrosting. If you lose power you need to have the tray in place below the freezer. Also be sure to manually defrost well before you have too much ice buildup or the tray will either overflow or have water so close to the top you won't be able to remove it without a spill.

Pros: Just got this in as of June 24,2012. So far I've been really happy about this fridge. Lots of room space for bottled water (It's in my room for my gaming session) and could easily fit my 24-Pack Ozarka Water.

Cons: There is, however, some things I am concerned about this fridge.

Every once in awhile, the fridge would turn off for about 15mins to save power. Once it reaches a temperature and sees that it needs to pump more cold air it would automatically turn off. This process creates this loud sound which can be bothersome especially if you got room mates in your room. HOWEVER, it is NOT THAT LOUD but enough that you could easily hear it.

My second concern about this product is that it doesn't have a light bulb system installed. So during my late night gaming session, I can't really see anything when grabbing things from the fridge. That's really not a con to be turned away from this amazing fridge though, you could easily just put a LED strip inside with a double sided tape (I modded it but works pretty good)

Pros: Cold, very cold. I have my thermostat set in the middle and it still keeps drinks very cold.
Seems reliable.
Spacious fridge area for such a tiny thing.
You can write on it with the markers included apparently.

Cons: The only real con is a typical problem with almost all mini-fridges, which is the freezer compartment. It's too small to fit anything. They definitely could've traded a little bit of fridge space in exchange for a bigger freezer compartment. I don't think I could jam a hungry man in that thing if I tried. I knew this when I got it though, so I can't take off an egg.

Other Thoughts: It's pretty quiet. If you were to put it on the coldest setting possible, it'd probably be loud because it'd have to run all the time, but I have it pretty close to my bed and it has yet to wake me up.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with it. It keeps my drinks super cold and whatever other refrigerated goods I have cold as well.

A little note about what it comes with:
A tiny icetray made to fit in the tiny freezer compartment.
A plastic tray that has no known purpose yet.
A couple of markers.

Pros: Have one at work, things works darn well, even froze a drink once from putting it to close to the freezer part

Cons: Not free i guess, freezer size is kinda small but fridge is plenty o room
